When Shoop was hired I thought our defense was gonna look like Alabama's this year. Consistent pressure and penetration, able to shut down the run, able to create turnovers, opportunistic and able to score.......unfortunately , I was 100% wrong. The two couldn't possibly be more polar opposite. Whatever Alabama's defense is, ours is the exact opposite.

I expected the whole season to look like our second half against UF.

Though Jumper has played good for us, they have no Jumper playing LB.

Because all their starters are healthy. Makes a huge difference more than you think it does. Our defense in that Bama game was 3rd and 4th stringers.

I normally agree with you KB, but not on this. We are down 3 all-SEC/all-Americans on defense at critical spots. Hard to be a good defense if you are playing guys that have hardly ever played in the SEC

How were his Vandy defenses so good then ? And Penn St with younger players due to the sanctions just getting over there ?

Verne and are Danielson are so wrapped up in their crap that they dont even know whats going on. bama had the ball on that exchange and they had no idea then Danielson trying to sound smart said it was a high snap and it wasnt then he is trying to play it off 5 min later. Try shutting the he77 up now and then and you would know whats going on.
