Tennessee should be good next year. But you are delusional if you think Tennessee's defense will be better than Bama's. Bama's linebackers are all better, to a man, than Tennessee's. And UT's secondary is not close to Bama's.

As good as UT's run game will be, Bama's will be just fine, as it always is. And Bama's receivers >>>>>>>>>>>> UT's.

Danielson wasn't blowing smoke when he said JRM was the best player on the field during the TSIO last season.

If you are confident that Tennessee's defense is going to be better than Bama's, then you shouldn't be pointing fingers when it comes to "homerism".

Tennessee's defense should be very good, perhaps great. There is no reason to think that Bama's defense will take a step back.

The time to investigate this thing was back when Saban first got it rolling and there were pics all over the Internet of Bama players cars in the team parking lot, and the autographs for suits deal. Roy Kramer wouldn't have stood for that nonsense and this thing would've been nipped in the bud. Unfortunately, Kramer ' s replacement seemed more interested in revenue than rules enforcement and now there's a self perpetuating situation. I doubt Bama has to cut any corners to get most of the guys they want at this point.

Did I say anything about being "better" or did I say "matching their performance."

As I recall, the defense gave Bama all it could handle this year. And it's highly probable it's only going to be better [than the previous year] in 2016.

Again, as I recall, Tennessee's defense matched up pretty well last year. Now what makes you think Alabama is so elite that nobody can match up?

UT's defense played almost, but not quite, as well as Bama's. I have no doubt that they are capable of doing the same this year.
