We beat a ranked team last year against Kentucky we haven’t beat a top ten ranked team since 2006

Kentucky is just as bad as Tennessee when it comes to playing Florida. They find ways to beat themselves.

How much time ? If he hasn’t won the East by 2024 you will have some fans calling for his head not me mind you because I know the type of program we are now which is a middle tier team. We are a 8-4 and 7-5 type program.

You are respectable. You are harsh but reasonable. I respect the give Heupel time take, but also being harsh on him. But I can’t stand people just giving no praise to the coaching staff but jumping on the oppurtunity to put them down

Beating that team will do more for their confidence than beating a Ball State team.

Do you need to schedule top teams every week not at all but at least play someone who will test you. Florida got tested and found a way. Tennessee will have to find a way to beat Pitt and then let’s see where things are.

We have no idea how good or bad Tennessee, Florida, Utah, or Ball State is after one game.

I’m not worried about Pitt or Florida though.

He needs to have a roster that approaches UGA’s to do that. He can outscheme Kirby but we’ll need a full recruiting cycle and lots of Spyre help to have the Jimmy’s and Joe’s. Trust the guy.

I like to have fun and talk ball but I said a couple of weeks ago that the Pitt game will set the tone for this season. We lose it and we are another 8-4 or 7-5 team, beat them and the chance to get to 9 or 10 is greater. Losing to Pitt sets us back.

We don’t need to out recruit. We just need to be close because Heup can scheme like crazy and Kirby has to out-athlete people to win.
