Seems like this is going from a fishy story to str8 bull$h!T. I'm for Gruden and all but making him the highest paid doesn't make sense. 1 Super Bowl and a 4 year lay off, I would assume u offer to somebody that has won 2 out 3 NC

That salary is in line with current NFL coaches which is what we are up against.

looks like guys with titles get at least 5.75 million. so that should be a fair estimate of what gruden would get. hes not getting the 7.5 that bellichek is getting but i could see an nfl team giving him the 7 that fisher, carrol and shannahan are getting.

I dont believe it. Not sure what Hart will do but I would do a backflip then run thru a wall if he hires Gruden!! All we can do is wait. I think Hart doent say or do anything til after the season.

Any possibility DD stays in some kind of admin role? That is only scenario in which I could see Gruden announcement in next couple days. That or (as someone posted was rumor today, he resigns for Browns position immediately effective), which I doubt but would be much easier for UT in many ways

So he's making 4.3 and we are going to offer 5.7? ...... Guess we are keeping all the Coordinators and Assistants, dont see how there's enough in the piggy bank for anybody else

If Dooley is fired tomorrow then that means Gruden accepted the offer but Gruden will not be named coach tomorrow
