Seems like this is going from a fishy story to str8 bull$h!T. I'm for Gruden and all but making him the highest paid doesn't make sense. 1 Super Bowl and a 4 year lay off, I would assume u offer to somebody that has won 2 out 3 NC
I have to respectively disagree with the above. If this is true (7 years 40mil), then I believe UT had to convince Gruden they were serious about getting UT relevant again. I believe (once again if all is true), UT is telling Gruden they believe he is the one to get the job done, and that he is as good, or can be better than Saban. And UT knows that another assistant hire would be fruitless at this point. They know they have to have a HR hire and are telling Gruden you are that. We shall see.
