No problem. I can't say for sure he accepted though, sadly, but we offered him 3 times with this last being our last resort attempt. I highly believe if he accepted you should hear it sooner rather than later.

Per TOS, Erik Ainge just said on his show that this rumor is not true. I don't know, I'm not listening, but very disappointing if true. Likely means a deal has not been reached with Gruden and decision on Dooley won't come until the end of the season.

Well, once again we have two threads. We have everything down to one thread, then someone decides their rumor is more important than all the other rumors.

Can we please merge the 2 Gruden threads, mods?

Dooley is too proud to accept that kind of role and he has alienated almost everyone from the top down in the AD with his attitude.

Wins and losses are the big part of the story but the total lack of humility in getting pounded by the big boys for three straight years is the other side.

He was in over his head from the beginning and it caught up with him.
