So, we should’ve just not played Bama at all then. Just forfeit our win against Bama, that’ll teach them.Prepare to be bitterly disappointed. That loss to USC eliminated us from the CFP. Even if all 4 of the top 4 teams lost between now and the final selection show, you would end up with CFP brackets with the following 4 teams (in some order): Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Alabama. We are behind both Ohio State and Alabama, and there is no possibility of ANY combination of future events on the field that will change that.
Nope! Both teams are 10-2 and we beat Bama head to head. Plus, Tennessee has a better SOS.
48 pts behind Bama at #6. OSU 5th.

NO THEY DONTTake off your orange glasses and take into account that we lost two games that weren't close, and one of those losses was historically embarrassing.
Bama lost two very close, last second games to top 10 teams on the road.
They have a slightly better resume based on those losses.
NO THEY DONT
What in the hell are you talking about
They played an easier schedule
They have inferior wins
And we beat them!
It's completely idiotic to think that our two losses are so much worse than their losses that it overcomes SOS, strength of wins and head to freaking head.
Take off your damn crimson glasses.
Insanity.
If you get credit for games you don't win, then why bother trying to win tight games? Bama could have skipped all the effort in the last minute against us and in overtime against LSU to prevent injuries, with their credit secured.Maybe they realize their losses could’ve went either way and we weren’t remotely competitive in ours.
Some of us including me thought 9-3 was the high water mark for 2022. I am proud to be a UT fan today. Nothing to hang our heads on this season. GBO!

As it is their best win is against an unranked team, and they've lost both times they've been pushed by a good team. If the playoff rankings is based on what you've actually done, it's not worth considering them.
If Alabama has wins against anybody meaningful, and doesn't have a head to head loss to us, maybe it's important how they lost. But if how you lose is really important it would be part of the standings to begin with. And if they really wanted to be ahead of us, they wouldn't have lost to us. They made their bed on the field, and they should have to live with it.It’s not like we have one loss to UGA and Bama has one loss to us. We made our bed and we aren’t moving past anyone ahead of us right now unless it’s Penn St. They didn’t lose by 20+ to a terrible team so that’s more than enough to put them ahead of us.
