8th in Recruiting in the SEC for 24...

Two of the teams ahead of us have a lower average recruit ranking (Texas & LSU). A couple have 28 commits. And I'm sorry but I don't give a damn about that 91.99 from the other UT vs. our 91.33 šŸ˜‚

2024 SEC Rankings

I say that all the time ... Don't focus on the team rankings. We can't sign as many players as most other schools, because of NCAA sanctions, which Heupel had nothing to do with. The focus should be on player average ratings. The people who only post the SEC team rankings, are trying to make Tennessee's Class of 2024 look worse than it really is ... or maybe they don't know any better?

I understand that logic suggests that there is a big difference between being 14th overall vs being 8th overall, but a closer inspection of the player averages reveals that there really isn't much difference at all.

Finally, it's usually posters without much history who do this. It's repetitive and annoying.

Hey, let's keep kidding ourselves...feels good, don't it? Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, TAMU, all kicking our ass in recruiting. Ole Miss, SCar, KY, smacking us in the portal. Can Heupel recruit? Tick Toc....
That's ridiculous ..... I wouldn't trade our 2024 class for LSU's, Texas's or Florida's .... no way. This is pure ignorance of how to follow recruiting.

Umm, sorry to be so stupid as to check the polls.
It's fine to check the 247 team standings, but you're focusing on the wrong thing. You're putting way too much emphasis solely on rankings, without any regard for how many commitments Tennessee has vs other schools, or for player average ratings. There really isn't much difference between Tennessee's class and LSU's or Texas's. You seem to think that there is.

One year ago we finished ranked 6th in the country. You are a child
Thank you. I've been wanting that for the past forty years. You can't imagine how much I appreciate your largesse. Now, would you like to engage in an ADULT conversation about where we are now?

Case in point :

Even though Tennessee is 14th overall in the Class of 2024 Football Recruiting Team Rankings, while Oklahoma is 8th ... Tennessee has a higher average player rating (91.33) than Oklahoma does (90.75). Oklahoma is only that much higher because they have 8 more commitments than Tennessee does. Oklahoma has 28 and Tennessee has 20. That is largely due to NCAA sanctions, which Josh Heupel had nothing to do with.

Oklahoma is not kicking our a$$ in recruiting. like you might believe, if you only go by the ranking, without paying any attention to the player rating averages.
