I'm not even sure what part of the horse is even left for you guys to beat. A hoof maybe, or a tooth? Best to quit while you're behind and focus your energies on something else.

The Jihadist pulls open his coat to reveal a vest wired with C4. He yells “Everyone here will desecrate their foul bodies with the meat of swine before being blown up! If you comply the women can go free.”
The CIA guy tells the Jew he’d better go along with it…at this point it’s about saving lives, right? After the Jew says a quick prayer for forgiveness and gulps down a big piece of bacon the CIA guy smiles, pulls his gun out and calmly walks over to the jihadist, who is frantically pushing the button to set off the vest, and shoots him between the eyes.
Still with a big smile on his face he tells the Jew “You owe me $100.”
“For what?” the Jew asks.
“You bet me 100 bucks I’d never see you eat pork and I just saw that happen.” the CIA man replied.
“But, but, you KNEW the bomb would not explode?” the Jew asked incredulously.
“Yep!” the CIA guy chirped with a big smile. “I knew right away it was wired wrong.”
“How?” The Jew asked.
With a big laugh and a slap on the back the CIA man said “Who the hell do you think sold him that stuff!?”

Sorry, best I could manage quickly, maybe somebody else can do better.

Because the floors below weren't designed for the loads above that were crashing down on them, plus the momentum of said loads.

1. It was symmetrical in nature. Instead of the building failing or favoring one side or the other, all 3 buildings failed in the normal direction. What are the odds that 3 buildings damaged asymetrically and in different manners (allegedly WTC 7 was damaged also) falling straight down in the normal direction? gravity is symmetrical, and that was the only force applied at the time of the collapse. the only way it should have collapsed was straight down because that was the only force. as far the asymmetrical damage all that did was provide a weakness that was the initial fail point. even then gravity was the only force acting on those levels.

2. The speed of the collapse. You get no argument from me that metal is weakened with heat, but I would think that after you mover further away from the source of heat, the structural integrity of the steel would gradually improve. With that being that case, lets assume that the steel near the source did weaken and fail... you should have had a series of inelastic collisions that may have very easily caused the weight of floor above to collapse on to the weakened floor below. But at a point, as you move further away from the source, these inelastic collisions of floors on top of floors would have run into gradually stronger floors on the lower levels. you don't design floors to carry the load of the floor above. as soon as one additional floor was stacked you are past the breaking point.

What I am suggesting is that (worst case scenario) we should have seen 2 towers failing asymmetrically with probably everything within 15-20 floors of the impact points possibly falling to the ground on the side of the collision or one side or the other. Any floors that would have collapsed on each other would have eventually reached stronger/less weakened floors and eventually stopped at some point. Instead of a total collapse, we should have seen two 70-80 floor structures left standing with jagged/asymmetrical damage left behind from the other floors falling away to the street.

Of course even then, there are some other questions:

1. How much time does it really take to weaken steel to failure? Is 90 mins a reasonable amount of time when we have examples of other buildings burning for as long as 24 hours without heat fatigue/failure? building code requires protection for steel after 20 minutes of exposure. 90 mins is actually impressive

2. Still no reasonable explanation for WTC 7.it was damaged and had some seismic-esque forces applied. (2 buildings collapsing near it cause some very big shockwaves.

i have no problem with the who done it or how much did our government know. 28 pages can be a lot of answers. However, I have problem with the collapse part of the conspiracy.

1. you are including a clause to that statement already admitting its possible.
2. Shear. read up on it. its not a compression load on those clamps.
3. it bends when you overload it to a small percentage. Adding a whole floor and doubling the load is way beyond the bend point of steel.

If you wanted a WTC conspiracy that's a couple of orders of magnitude more plausible than the current one imagining a damn Rube Goldberg machine thought up by Wile E Coyote on acid and carried out by Sith Goblins then why not something like this:

Ok, the impetus behind wanting the towers to fall can pretty much stay the same. Let's go with sinister cabal. These are smart people with resources. What's to keep guys that fit this narrative from actually figuring out that, for reasons we all have the benefit of hindsight in knowing, that they could very well take down WTC by slamming planes into them? So what's the point of this angle? It carries all the neat little "whodunnit" conspiracy juiciness without having to invest oneself in all the bat**** crazy beliefs that have to work for the current model. Sadly, and I'm dead serious here, I think a great many of the conspiracy people WANT the BSC angle because it's just more "fun" and they feel much more clever about themselves for being so open minded.

*Just want to assert I'm not saying I believe this to be the case but if you just can't stand the idea that it wasn't just some pissed off muslims it's all a hell of a lot easier to believe than the aforementioned Wile E Coyote/Rube Goldberg/Sith Goblins approach.

Sadly, that's not going to matter to those that decided this was a conspiracy. It will only reinforce the decision they have made in their mind of how correct they are in all the insane theories they truly believe.

as it has been said above no way to prove it at a scale level.

and the strength of steel members isn't usually directly tied to the size of the member. (Halving the size could easily result in a member that is stronger or weaker than 50% of the original). and looking at sizes it doesn't look like there is always a comparable half size.

and it will be interesting to see how they apply the heat.

Can't use the same materials either. The Titanic suffered huge damage and sank due to brittle fracture of the steel used to build it because of imperfections in the metal. Whos to say the old I beams in the towers weren't made with dirty steel also? Testing standards for bldg materials were nothing back then. No regulation.
