9/11 Conspiracy Thread

you seem to know about the missiles, I would like to ask some questions.

How maneuverable are they? obviously they have some but I don't think they have the "quick twitch" ability to go over the over pass and then drop on the pentagon? Is that correct? and at the time were we "piloting" these or fly-by-wire or something that would allow direct control? I thought at the time GPS coordinates was the peak but I could easily be wrong.

Then missiles I'm most familiar with and the US military deploys most often is the Tomahawk.

I'm no expert by any means but I can tell you they are relatively slow. They use a rocket to get airborne then cruise on a jet engine. They are fairly slow, subsonic if I remember correctly. They are not flown remotely like a drone but a course and target are pre-programed prior to launch. They use several navigation and targeting systems including GPS, radar, some kind of terrain following, and some kind of mapping system. I'm not sure if it's possible to make that tight of a maneuver. I am sure though if an airplane could do it a Tomahawk could do it.

Personally I can't believe it was a cruise missile as there is virtually no impact explosion from a warhead that I've seen. The damage to the building seems to me to be solely from the impact. They would have had to have removed the warhead if that was a cruise missile.

Screw the science of all this, I would really like to know from those that are calling conspiracy, how many people would it take to pull this off? How do you keep them quiet? How do you keep this a secret in a town where nothing can be kept secret? What's the motivation? How could those involved stomach killing 3000+ of our countrymen?

Still waiting.

Let me see I get this straight: The World Trade Towers, Pentagon, and Shanksville weren't actually hit by planes even though tens of thousands of individuals witnessed it, phone calls were made during flight up until impact of each plane, testimony by building workers, funerals were attended and the second collision was on national live tv? The US government can't balance its budget, secure the border, fire an employee, or fix its infrastructure yet is capable of launching a conspiracy that would have to involve tens of thousands of individuals without an ounce of credible information being leaked over a 15 year period? This a very worthwhile thread imho

Hmmm, so obviously, the 28 pages hasn't moved the needle in here.

Sad...

How many pages did you expect it would take to move the needle? Nobody still has answered my question, I guess it only works for for those asking questions and not when it's being reciprocated. Seriously, someone give me an honest answer to my question a page or 2 back.

I wonder how much was blacked out or just omitted altogether before they were declassified? I mean the US government wouldnt lie to us would they? This would be huge news if they kept stuff from us citizens. Its much easier for the government if we act like most in this thread. Dont ask questions and take what they have said as indisputable fact.

I will give you an honest answer. I have no clue.

The sheer magnitude of a coverup is too much. There's no way someone wouldn't talk or write a book. Not in today's world, we're all too jaded or greedy. I'm not dismissing the idea that the plane in Pennsylvania could've been shot down, it honestly makes sense, however there is no way this occurs without someone talking. Way too many moving parts.

Fair enough. But some other people believe that a cover up did happen and there are many, many inconsistencies with what the government has told us about 9/11.

Even if somebody did talk, would it be received as fact? Or would it be deemed bunk because the government experts have already given their report? Just because someone writes a book or gives their eyewitness account, it doesnt mean anything. What would happen when the "experts" would refute the book or witnesses accounts with their "facts?" How many people are going to side with the government guys?

The fact is we will never know the whole truth. So all we have is the government findings and everyone elses opinions. So pick your side. My side is this. The government had a hand in the attack. How much they did, I have no clue. But to think they absolutely had no clue about an attack this significant with all the resources and the most technologically advanced information gathering network in the world is a little shortsighted. This is my opinion.

You want to believe the government had a hand in it. And as I've stated before, they knew an attack was coming, but the sheer magnitude and audacity was the problem. Had anyone in the intelligence community told their superiors four airliners would be hijacked at the same time and used as manned cruise missiles, they would have been laughed out of the room. Nobody could have predicted the way it went down.

Perhaps not everything "fits" into a nice neat package that makes absolute sense overall. But that's the way real life tends to be. RDU brings up a perfectly valid point though, someone would have talked by now. The sheer complexity of such an attack with so many moving parts that spanned two different Presidential Administrations is almost a guarantee word would have gotten out. And yes, those individuals would have been listened to. At least far more than people grasping at straws making YouTube videos and picking apart the 9/11 report for minutia that didn't affect the overall outcome.

You can believe what you want as will others. But a grand conspiracy of the magnitude of 9/11? Most people just can't see it.

Like you said to me, you are entitled to your opinion, but I will disagree. Maybe I'm naive or believe in the good in our country, but I can't believe members of our intelligence services would participate in the murder of our citizens, and could do so on a massive scale.

I'm not an architect, I'm not a demolitionist, but I know people. No way this happens and multiple people are involved without talking.

I've stated before that I've been on both sides of this. I have to agree that the people involved would be more than a few....would entail many hundreds of people. It is something you can't ignore even when the science and appearance of many things are questionable. I want to think, as much as I distrust Washington, that there's no way they could commit murder upon their own people.

Bottom line, regardless of how someone feels about it, it won't change the fact that it will go down as the worst day in American history....

Physics professor (no real world experience and physics doesn't equal structure) civil engineer (roads), mechanical system engineer (HVAC) and a director of a group. Not a solid line up. A bit better than the high school teacher but none of those guys have the experience or qualifications for me to take seriously.

Whole paper starts by ignoring half of the cause of the collapse: planes flying into the building. They go straight to fire, and how many fires started with jet fuel as the source? I will hang up and listen. Dear god how blind do they have to be. They look at each region individually and proclaim it's not enough. Yet they don't combine and look at the whole picture.
