Richardson in the 200lb club, tougher breed.

Richardson came out of HS at 180lbs.

There's no doubt, he's constantly talking, constantly giving pointers to the other guys. And I love how Barton seems to have gelled so well already with this team. I think it was Q (could be mistaken), but he did something good and Barton went up and hugged him and was kissing him on the head and like pumping him up. Barton and Maymon both are gonna be leaders out there, and obviously McRae as well, the will to win is gonna be very high IMO.

Watched the practice on my lunch and kinda just skimmed through it, but was really surprised about Pops. Seems like he is way better than Yemi. I'm so pumped for the season to start. We have so many weapons, I just don't see how we are going to lose very many games this season. Just crazy to see how well Martin has built this roster!

Yea the Pops/Yemi comparison offensively is an insult to Pops. I watched him hit 18 footers coming off a back screen drill time after time, I'm confident Yemi would've air balled that or shot it over the back board. Pops is much more polished than Yemi was, and it's not even close honestly.

I read somewhere that Maymon was getting on to Stokes and getting things out of him that nobody else could in practice. Definitely going to be the leader of the team.

It was a recent article, I can't remember where though? Was saying that Maymon pushes stokes and bangs with him like nobody else will.

You definitely have a point, and if it's gonna be someone from UK I would guess Randle. However, while this was the best class ever, they didn't get the star in Wiggins who I could see have seen getting SEC POY. It'll be interesting, but I think it will be either McRae or Randle, and McRae may get the nod.

Coach Nic said that the team chemistry is at an all time high right now. That's what I like to hear. (Listening to some of the interviews right now)

Good post and I agreewith it. If the Vols make the tournament and exceed realistic expectations in the tourney, i'll be looking forward to seeing Cuonzo locked up long term. I'll also buy into everything he's selling so far.

If this team doesn't make the tournament or if they get booted by an inferior team in the first round of the NCAA tourny, the players and the coaches have no one to blame but themselves imo. And I will have lost most of my confidence in Counzo, not that any of it matters anyways.
