Something I never thought McRae lacked was confidence. Most certainly his sophomore year he was never shy about jacking up as many Ill advised shots as possible.
Thankfully he has turned a corner since then. Still, I don't think it's about confidence.

I guess there's different words to describe it, but as Chris touched on, when he would start bad it would continue. If he wasn't on in the first 5 minutes he would typically let if hurt other areas of his game and continue for multiple games. Last year if his shot wasn't falling he would try and get to the line, and still bring it defensively.
