Why not?? Everything written in this thread can be used during dooley's tenure. Imagine Hart leaving after the season and the new AD wanting to make his own mark, throw in the NCAA as ur office neighbor, and a team full of misfits.
CBJ needs to take care of business ASAP. If he doesn't he won't survive this fan base. His top recruiting class will start to dwindle, and he will have to start settling for players he wouldn't have normally wanted. We were told he can coach up players and do more with less, and he hasn't proven that yet. So if he has to settle with regular talent players, and learn how to coach against the top coaches in the country??? Hart is clock with this hire, so CBJ needs to survive for both of them. I my opinion Dooley inheritted a much better team than Jones did and would probably still be the coach here if he made a better hire as his DC. I have not seen anything out of Jones that would indicate he is any where near as bad of a game day coach as Dooley was and I do think Jones has made some questionable decisions so far. Now if he is still making bad decisions in his 3rd season as Dooley did you may have to evaluate then.
As I stated earlier I think coaching in the SEC is a learning curve for this staff and also instilling a winning attitude in the players that are here.
