A few practice updates from last night and today (Practice #13 thread)

do you guys realize qb's make bad throws even in..practice? I think Einstein said something about dreading the day when the use of technology would create generations of idiots. I probably butchered his quote and idiot is way to strong of a word but I think we have a generation of Madden NFL folk that go through practice drills and think qb's are error proof in practice. I'm kindof kidding and kindof serious.

Quick thought on the center. I felt last year the snap was not only slow to release but also slow in the air. That didn't help an already off beat offense based on timing. I hope we can get it back quickly to the qb so a slow to read Worley can get that extra and important split second to see the field instead of still looking at the ball floating his way.

Einstein most certainly never said this. He is the most misquoted person in the history of ever.

In regards to the rest, I think the guys taking video don't show you every pass and intentionally manipulate them. That way they can create QB controversies that don't exist and get those clicks!

hope 12 starts, get his feet wet before the showdown in Okie.. if he fails, we got a seasoned Sr waiting in the wings and we know what he can bring to the table.

In the video Gaulden looks really, really good. He's going to be a special player for us down the road.

Seriously though, I have read a lot of Einstein pieces. For him to say something like that is so out of character, it would be like Mark Twain saying that he loves Jane Austen and deeply admires her works.

*The Vols then broke into a series of red-zone plays where the line of scrimmage moved from the 18-yard line to the 9, then the 6 and then the 3, and the offense repeatedly got the best of the defense.

From the TFP article. Makes me happy and sad at the same time.

All the QB's looked better in those drills than they did last week, also the WR's looked better too...less over/under throws and less drops. Guess that is why they "Practice".

Not sure why the media is making such a big deal outta Maggit missing his 5th practice now. Wasn't it said he has a high ankle sprain? I would much rather him miss some practice and make an impact in the game.

Anyone worried about this boot on Maggitt? He has missed several practices with a high ankle sprain. Any reason to worry he won't be ready for the first game? We need this guy to step up BIG this season.

If it's really a high ankle sprain he'll be out a month, minimum.

Not sure Worley has been worse and he's been with the one's all camp. Peterman made a charge but sounds like it will be JW to start.

Yea I am not sure why either. But if memory serves correctly, isn't that what happened last year? Worley got reps with the 1s all week leading up to UF and then they named Peterman the starter Friday afternoon?

Hashtag misdirection...
