A few thoughts

No, you pretty much came in guns-a-blazin' that 3 games in 6 days is why we had such a debacle last night.

Really?
I understand the points that the Pearl haters are making. However, can none of you address the legitimate point that this was the teams 3rd game in 6 games? I know it's easy for you to sit there on your computer and type about how this team isn't performing to your lofty expectations, but do you ever consider them just being tired?

What about the officiating? When was the last time you saw a am shoot 35 free throws when there is still 8 minutes left in the game?

Much less of one. Again, I'm not trying to say that it was the only reason, or even the biggest reason. I was simply pointing out that if you guys cant admit that it even had a little to do with the loss then you are delusional.

I guess I am delusional I have lived out of a suitcase traveling city to city for weeks at a time and never used travel as an excuse for poor performance.

I guess these in premier athletes in the prime of their life just don’t have the stamina of middle aged businessmen.

Yes Im sure your business requires as much stamina as SEC basketball.

Yes, really. Why didn't you bold the rest of your original statement? Or post the first 10-15 follow ups where you were telling us how we have no idea how hard it is to travel?

How can you say I came in here saying that the travel cost us the game when in my first post I said I understand the points everyone is making, and specifically gave another reason?

Not to mention, if you consider this:

"guns a blazing" then you're in for a rude awakening when you finally step outside in to the real world.

If traveling to Baton Rouge via airplane is the excuse then 7X the travel to national and international destinations certainly accounts for something. How much traveling have you done?

1. You referenced everyone as a "Pearl hater", which IMO is more of a dig than a concession.

2. The majority of your post (and the first thing you focused on) was the travel.

3. You then spent the majortiy of your next posts defending the 3 games in 6 days arguments.

Said the kid who went to Sewanee. So did you spend more time in the basketball gym playing ball or at a kegger doing other stuff?

So, since I have no idea what the "real world" is, why don't you inform me of what you do.

You're forgetting the whole basketball game part you know. They didn't travel to baton rouge to sit in a hotel room on their laptop.
If you're saying the basketball game is the reason for the alleged fatigue, this team has huge problems. 3 games in 6 days isn't the Bataan Death March.

Don't argue with him hat. He played ball at Sewanee and knows all about travel fatigue and how the real world works.

Well Hat, its the best excuse folks can come up with. How else can you explain the complete lack of effort and lack of focus. Had to just be tired, I guess.

February 3-At Sacramento.
February 4-At Portland.
February 6-At L.A. Clippers.
February 8-At L.A. Lakers.
February 11-At Denver.
February 17-At Indiana.
February 19-At Philadelphia.
February 21-At Detroit.

If it weren't for the All Star break, the Spurs would be able to sue the NBA for hazardous duty pay. I can't believe the Obama administration hasn't stepped in and stopped this brutality.
