A Possible Solution Presents Itself.

The whole original thought of Larry Brown being a solution if Pearl is fired is ridiculous. I would rather have Phil Jackson over Andy Kennedy, but it's not realistic. What's the point in arguing something that is not going to happen? And if Hat were to approve of the Andy Kennedy hire, you would do a 180. That is fact.

Yep.

Sorry, I wouldn't normally do this, but I just agree so much.

He's not been mentioned in a while, but is Lon Kruger a for-real option as far as UT is concerned?

Remains my favorite name among those I've heard on here as possible replacements.

I couldn't care less if he's interested or not. He shouldn't be a candidate for the UT job should it open.

And you're making a pretty big leap to kiss hat's tail here anyway.

Too bad that when factual information is provided that you have no response other than making comments about kissing tail. I don't think Larry Brown is or will be a candidate for the UT job, however, fact is, he is still involved and interested in coaching as many on here have denounced. Sorry you can't accept that without personal attacks, but your response is not surprising.

It's not a personal attack. You post a link about LB showing up at a UK practice to hang with his buddy Cal and somehow stretch that into LB begin interested in being a college head coach.

Sorry to hurt your feelings - but you were stretching an article to mean something that was wasn't there.

It was not a stretch, just a response to many on here who said he had no interest in coaching again and would have no interest in the college game. He is working with the UK point guards. Obviously, that indicates that he has interest in coaching and has, at least, some interest in the college game. No indication that he is seeking or would accept a college head coaching job, but he obviously still has interest in coaching at some level and is currently working with college players.

Out of almost 500 posts I don't see too many posters saying Brown has no interest to re-enter coaching. Most were/are questioning his ability to do so.

So congratulating the OP on some awesomeness is just fluffing.

Too bad that every comment has to be labeled by the Hat Haters. I don't agree with Hat on everything as with any other poster, but try to give credit where it is due. If you can't accept that, then you can go on trying to tale down Hat or anyone else or consider any agreement as fluffing. That seems to float your boat, so enjoy.
