A Thread For The Coaching Search Family!

I agree. Hopefully they learned a lot yesterday. On a S/N, we're in bad need of a good Tight End. We have Rivals #1 TE committed. Hopefully he seen yesterday what a difference he could make with this team.

I think we have two good ones committed don't we?

I don't think Downs has done that bad this year. Chances are he stays for another year after this one. He's a short gains guy that's getting us some good plays.

It's hard to fill the shoes of a Mychal Rivera. But I think he can be a good asset to the team if he stays one more year.

Yes, Daniel Helm ( 6'4", 215 lbs, IL ) #1 and Ethan Wolf (6'5", 243 lbs, OH, EE) #22. Would love to see both on board next year.

Downs has had his moments, but has some big drops too. Butch's offense to me screams for a good TE.

Well, yesterday sucked but really to no surprise. It just showed how far we still have to go to get where we want to be. I still have faith that we are on the right path and will eventually get there.

OK - we learned some things which will help us get better on the road - on to Mizzou! WoooHooo! Go Big Orange!

I knew I should've eaten that elephant! :)

Here kitty kitty kitty....

TENNESSEE FOOTBALL: BULLETPROOF on Vimeo

Have y'all seen this? Just saw on FF - as I said there;

I wish I had words to describe how this video makes me feel - Inky is truly able to capture with his words and the awe in his voice, his cadence, his truth - what I think it would feel like to be able to play this game and the Privilege it is to play at THE University of Tennessee...

I love that our team feels Bulletproof in Neyland Stadium - that Volnation has come together in support of these kids working so hard and accomplishing so much...

I love that John Ward was included - I've been saying those words in my head (sometimes I yell them out loud:yes:) at the beginning of every game this year!

GO BIG ORANGE!!!

Got the police called on me while I was standing over by the neighbor's fence with a .22 saying "here kitty kitty."

This tiger steak crap is hard to accomplish...

I think Butch is going to be a good coach for us, he is for sure a great recruiting, but some of the game plans do confuse me

Agreed. O-line false starts killing us ( I counted at least 5, with Tiny getting two and Downs has to hear his name on the PA at least once a game). Drive killers. Defense gave up 300 yds rushing and Quarterback and Receivers - I'm scratching my head. When the QB makes a good pass the receivers drop it. Then you have the QB throwing five yards over the receiver's heads. Coleman lines up 10 yards off the receiver then lets his guy go on by for the TD. All this along with Neal playing touch football equals a butt kicking. Where's the discipline we seen the first couple of games?
Vol fan until I die and I'm behind Butch but I think he needs to really look at who wants to play and who doesn't.
Thru with my rant, back to normal programming. :)

I'm not calling for his head, but I'm not sure he was ready for a job on this stage yet. I think he can get there but he's learning on the job. He's learning that this ain't the big east. Ironically, I thought when he was hired he'd be a very good X's and O's coach and get more out of less talent and struggle with recruiting. It's turned out to be the opposite. He's one heck of a salesman, I'll give him that.
