I feel sorry for you.

George, i admire your holding to your opinions, but you must realize that there are those of us who don't meld religious belief with government regulation.

I'm against government intrustion when it comes to private prayer in school, but i am equally opposed to government intrusion on issues such as abortion, where most vocal opponents of abortion such as yourself cite your interpretation of God's word.

I feel sorry for you.

Conversely, I feel sorry for you. I sleep well at night -- you seem to be very distraught. That doesn't make me right and you wrong -- it just means I don't lose sleep over this topic.

Just a hypothetical question (and it's not loaded or leading) -- do you believe in a soul?

volbybirth....Nero slept well too.....but you never did answer the question did you?...gee i tried not to make it too hard...good luck in Life's decisions.

Nero notoriously slept poorly.

I thought I had answered all your questions -- thoroughly. You'll have to ask again because I'm not sure which one you are referring to.

I know. Do you believe that you are your own god?.....pls try a yes or no?

No, I do not consider myself a God. But I do believe in free will, the ability to take information and make decisions upon this information, and act accordingly.

First let me thank you for answering the question directly. But one answer just bring the next question. Where did the free will come from?

You're leading....regardless, I guess I believe free will is an instinct. I realize you are most likely saying it comes from God, but the case is made that everything comes from God. It's not necessarily a good basis for argument.

NO...He is the Word!....

Actually, I misread your post. I thought it said "word" not "world".

Regardless, where are we here? I'm lost. If you are saying since God gave us free will then we shouldn't allow abortions -- I'm lost in the connection. I also think we are commandeering this thread with weak posts.

How weak is this:
'John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word (note W is in caps), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." God did not make us as Puppets or robots....we make our own decisions and are judged by them. No negative events on earth are His...but they are not prevented either, as long as we sin. Thank you.

Works for me.....I have free will. The free will to disagree with you about abortion. The free will that God gave me.

Is "Thank you" really at the end of that verse?
