Voldad....your say the woman should have the final word....again you say...You my son or future daughter have nothing to say? If you have a child now....if you could go back and change your mind to abort that child...would you?

the question Voldad asked you, which you never answered, is how you (you personally) would stop a woman from having an abortion.

you didn't answer my question either.

Wrong...the development of the brain starts in the first 24 hours!.....We have "Pro Choice" and Pro Life"...but we do not have "Pro Fetus".....who will start it...the "unborn"?.....no you and I must speak out for our sons and daughters. We ...the average person whether he/she realizes it..think we are god. If you do not believe in a Creator greater than ourselves...than you consider yourself as your own god. Some day...just stop...get in a private area and think ....how great our bodies are designed...from our ears to our heart to the fingernails....far beyond what scientists can explain....than think...who created this..me you....than your opinion on God's fetus will change....call me a Jesus nut...its ok....its the best thing in life i have ever been called...God Bless

The brain does not start in the first 24 hours. It's not even an 8 cell organism at this point....

The heartbeat typically begins at 6 weeks (pregnancy, not conception) which some can argue denotes the beginning of life. At the same time, would you call a brain dead vegetable with a heart beat alive? I wouldn't.

A fetus is officially a fetus at 11 weeks of pregnancy. 9 out of 10 abortions occur prior to 12 weeks with the majority of those being prior to 8 weeks. Prior to the fetus stage are the zygote, blastocyst, and embryonic stages. Personally, I do not consider these stages "a person" -- and barely even human.

So in the end, no, I don't believe you are speaking for unborn children. These are not children.

Apples and Oranges my child was planned. But I will try and answer a more realistic example. If I had a 16 year old daughter who became pregnant by a boy because she looooves him and got caught up in a moment of youthful passion, then yes I would seriously consider an abortion. It would be between us and our God.

See answering questions is not so hard. You have yet to say why your voice should carry more weight than the voice of the girl/woman who must carry the fetus for 9 ½ months. Why so evasive?

Volbybirth.....you say the heart typical starts beating in the first 6 weeks and than you say most abortion are performed after 9 weeks....not murder?...ok you go in for a major operation and during that operation your heart stops flatlined...if that heart can't be restarted you are dead...but its ok to perform abortions with a beating heart?....and no the brains begins to form in the first 24...my sourse...three doctors!

No i agree the woman carrying the baby for 9 months sure have more to say that old me. But you never mentions the fitus.....when he is ripped out of the woman body...she/he can not make a sound...not yet.....do you judge everything in life by sound and feel......?......

There is no convincing anyone on this topic, on either side, which is why it has been an angry topic for years.

George, for everyone's sake, please take a little more time typing out your posts, not trying to be a prick, but i get a headache reading them.

Maybe it just means a lot more to me>...sorry...be great if we could sit in a room and discuss with respect to each other...i am sorry if i was negative ...i have my reasons....be great to discuss it with friendship...you call me a "prick" lol...isn't that what started it? lol
be safe....George

Please let me ask one question......and i ask that you think deeply...do not answer quickly....its not a easy one....be completely honest with yourself...that question is:

Do you believe in God?....do you believe there was and is a Creator?.....do you believe completely in God?...no maybe ...could be...well?...please..thank you for your time...G

As I believe I said in a previous post, “Yes” I believe in GOD.

And, no offense, but I also do not presume for 1 second that you speak for him.

Please reread my post. 90% are before 12 weeks with the majority of that 90% prior to 8 weeks.

And no, you are wrong. The brain does not begin to form in the first 24 hours. The first 24 hours are nothing more than unraveling two sets of DNA. The next 3 days are nothing more than cell division without the egg even implanting on the wall. There is no brain, no form, it's a blastocyst. I'm very well versed in this.

As for your doctors stating that the brain starts within the 24 hours - -you might want to ask them what their definition of the brain is.

As for the heartbeat being murder, there are many, many fetus' that have a heartbeat that are miscarried. Most are miscarried because their is a chromosomal defect or some other issue. Does this make God a murderer for putting in this fail safe? What if the body didn't properly miscarry? Is the woman a murderer for aborting a fetus that has these defects just because her body didn't abort naturally?

I'm not trying to convince you to agree with me, but I will refute incorrect statements and will attempt to have a normal discourse with you if you please think through your posts.

I will bite and say "Yes". I'll await your response as to how this is fully relevant.

Depends on your viewpoint. If George is stating that stopping a heartbeat of a fetus constitutes murder -- what about the fetus that has a heartbeat but due to defects will never make it to term? It never had the correct DNA makeup to go to term -- just far enough to get a heartbeat and then fail sometime thereafter. These don't always naturally abort (5% can go to term) -- is it murder to do what your body didn't naturally do? If you let them go to term they typically live horribly and die very young.

Stil makes no sense. If the fetus naturally dies that is not a useful comparison to abortion. That is like comparing someone dying of a heart attack to someone dying from being beaten over the head with a hammer. One is a death, one is a murder. IF, you believe abortion is murder, then yes you are going to believe that aborting a fetus that has problems is still murder. Also, it makes no sense to say do what your body did not do naturally. If your body did not complete the deal of aborting, then it did what was natural. If the body decides to abort or not to abort, it does not matter, either outcome was natural.

I'll concede. I'm doing a horrible job of explaining this point -- and it's only a minor one in the overall picture.

How can you be barely human?

I think even those opposed to abortion would yield to medical conditions and cases of rape or incest.
