I don't know if I should laugh at that or pity the sad situation that my beloved Vols are in.... What a joke of a coach, I seriously cannot stand the sight of Dooley anymore.

Please, Dave Hart, Boosters, anybody... FIRE this FOOL!!

So, is Sal out? I didn't realize Dooley, was such a Defensive mastermind....

He didn't say that ,but he had to really try hard not to. I think DD knows he has to feed Sal to the wolves to have any chance to stay no matter what.

Ok, we're 9 games in.. And he is just now realizing we have issues with our defense?
And is just now "moving" over to help the defense... Cheek or hart or who the hell ever don't see the levels of ineptitude that is Derrick Dooley that we can't cut ties?

We are now a Mickey mouse program!

If anyone needs any more time to figure out what DD is all about, God help them. Another week and another collapse is just expected now a days. Maybe it's the OL's turn. I am calling it now. OL gives up 9 sacks Vs Mizzou. Sheldon Richardson has 4.5 this week.

I'm so glad he has waited for 3 games to go before he gives his expertise to help the defense. The season is saved! Long live Dooley!

If you watched the DD show yesterday, which I did. Dools was constantly biting his tongue to keep from throwing Sal under the bus. You could tell he had realized he or Hart or both made a huge mistake with Sal. He kept aluding to it cannot continue like this. But when asked what the solution was by BK Dools never gave a direct answer.

If he was going to help out with the defense he should have done it weeks ago.Too little too late.

what do you want him to do? atleast he is trying to help fix it. I don't care what happens to the coaches , but these kids deserve for the coaches to do everything they can to help them win. I don't care if it was the last game of the year if it helps.

Dude our O-Line has played great this year.If they can control Clowney. They can control Richardson. He may get 1.He won't have 4 like Alex Brown had against Tennessee in 1999.

I doubt they will as well. I made the comment to speak to just how bad this year has been. Every week it's something else.

I haven't heard his quote today regarding helping the defense but I know he's said a couple times over the last two or so weeks that he would be getting more & more involved on D.

That's probably why we just gave up the most yards ever on defense.

Anything Dooley touches goes to shat.

Not sure why this is being discussed. We already know the unfortunate answer to this question.

Why not start at the beginning of spring training to help with the def. He is the head coach. He is suppose to have his eye on the offense and defense. All year long. That is why is getting the big bucks.

This should go over like a screen door on a submarine.

Everytime I hear that analogy. I think of Biff Tannen on Back to the Future saying it wrong. "This should go over like a screen door on a battleship." lol now as we were back to important topics.

I would hope that if he thought it was going to be anything like this that he would have. remember they didn't look all that bad until the 2nd half of the Florida game. at this point he couldn't say anything to win over the fans.

If this is indeed true, I think it is obvious what is going on.

Sure, he knew there were problems after Ga State even - as did you and I.

Why, if you're on the hot seat, would you announce you're going to move to the defense to help out before the meat of the schedule.

Now we find ourselves approaching Mizzou, Vandy, and Kentucky. I think I'll publicly announce that I'm going to help out right here. Hard to not show improvement with that competition.
