ACC imploding???

If the beloved ACC implodes, which two schools would you most likely like to see join the SEC?

Not saying it is but, with the strong words out of Tallahassee this week, the SEC might just be in a good position to cherry pick a couple of strong schools (like we did w Texas & Oklahoma). And geographically speaking, it certainly would make more sense for ACC schools to join up with the SEC vs Big 10, 6 Pac, etc, right??

If you ask any NCSU fan, they think they belong in the SEC. NCSU would be like having another Kentucky in the conference.

Their mouth outruns their results, but they’ll occasionally come up with some decent years of football.
I think State would crawl on hot coals to the SEC if it meant they could get away from UNC .

No to NCSU and Duke. Don't see the value.

UVA and UNC make sense from New TV Market standpoint..

Clemson and Miami don't add new markets but it keeps another conference from plucking them...

Have to look at other revenue sports outside of football, Duke is a HUGE basketball brand... I voted for Duke and Carolina.

$120 million to leave the ACC per school. Might be some talk but that is a huge payout.. Also would not surprise to see ACC tie schools up in court for breaking away.

Basketball isn't driving this. It's why no one wants to scoop up UConn and why SEC/Pac/Big 10 never looked at Kansas...

Great point, but I see it as the SEC is in the fortunate position of using conference expansion to exploit other sports; that is, SEC is so far beyond surviving for the sake of football, that it can leverage its position to exploit other areas (Basketball branding).
