Agree.

Wouldn't bother me to see bama win and put the real pressure on the cfp committee to actually consider no sec team in the play offs. I can already smell the sweaty board room!
If bammer wins today it could be 2 SEC teams in the playoffs and could open up more bowl slots for SEC teams.

I’m good with the team, sounds like abracadabra, we beat at home last year winning over the team that sounds like hawgs and has beat us to many times in a row. Love watching football. Hope to see us in SECCG and NCAACFPCG before I lose my eyesight and hearing. We will be watching Vols bowl game at home this year.

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Bama
4. Georgia

Bama now has the best win of the year, over #1, twice defending national champions, winning the best league.

The case is for #4 between UGA, Texas, OSU, and FSU. I don't see UGA being left out of that spot.

Texas won their conference though and FSU might as well. Surely they wouldn’t put Georgia over a major conference winner with the same record?

Georgia and Alabama both deserve to be in the playoff. They are both better than any of the teams vying for a spot.

Bama (ugh)
Washington
Michigan
Texas

If FSU wins tonight, it will be hard for the playoff committee to leave a 13-0 Power 5 team out though. Of course, they aren't the same team without Jordan.

Texas should get the nod over Bama in that case. They put on a show for the committee today.

It most likely wouldn’t be 2 teams in the playoffs without having needed a full slate of upsets across the board in the other conference championship games (which hasn’t happened).

It also wouldn’t be more SEC Bowl spots in this year’s case, as it would have meant the teams pulling the upsets (Iowa, Oklahoma State) would have also gotten New Years 6 bowl spots, pushing back Missouri out of the New Years 6 bowls (while still keeping Ole Miss and LSU on the outside), pushing pretty much everyone else down.
