Bama did lose to Texas in Tuscaloosa
Yep that's one variable. In week 2. I don't think the committee is all of a sudden going to factor that and then bump Texas 4 spots for it just because they beat Okie lite.

As I said the 4th spot isn't even between Bama and Texas. It's between UGA and FSU.

Of course this is the last year of the 4 team playoff and chaos pursues. No one really knows what the committee is thinking (top 4 "deserving" or best 4 teams) but here is my take.

I don't see the committee leaving out an undefeated ACC Champion, even though I don't think FSU should be in. I don't think OSU is even in the equation because they didn't play in their conference championship game. I don't think GA is in because they lost their conference championship and their SOS isn't great. That leaves TX or AL and the committee has stated several times that head-to-head matters. By that scenario, TX will be in and the SEC will not have representation in the CFP. By some chance they decide to leave FSU out, then Tx is 3rd and AL will be 4th.
Just my opinion and probably isn't worth 2 cents.
I'll get popcorn and watch the drama begin!!

Go Vols!!

The projections are a lot more varied than they were last week. Last week, it was basically UNC or NC State. This week, it’s those two, Notre Dame, Louisville, or Wisconsin.

I’d like that Outback matchup vs. Wisconsin. A bigger payout and a more likely win.
