Ainge Clueless - Tennessee Sports Radio Problems

Ainge is kind of odd. He's really good when he talks mechanics and some of the inside stuff. But it all kind of falls apart when he gets outside that realm and he sounds like just some dude talking out his rear end on the radio.

Yep. :good!:

My guess is that Hart knew that Gruden wasn't interested and as a way to appease the alumni and booster community he placed a phone call to his agent as a courtesy.

Could be. I said all along that I didn't think Gruden would come here. That said, there is no evidence Hart would have known what Gruden would or would not do. And there is no evidence that Hart tried even a little bit to convince him to come here. So, the group that says they are convinced Hart did everything he could do to get Gruden perplex me just as much as anyone who claims that Gruden coming was a done deal.

It's funny. When a coach bolts for a better opportunity and climbs the ladder, he is scolded. When a coach chooses to stay at a place he loves, he is called a pansy. Interesting dynamic there. Regardless of why he stayed at Boise, who cares? I think it's cool that he has passed up better opportunities for a place he seems to like and his family seems to like. Same with Shaka Smart. Petersen finally took an opportunity he has long deserved, at a time and place of his choosing. Good for him.

He needs to mature, that's all. Some do it faster than others. I still have a ways to go myself. He is like Clay Travis, except I almost think Travis is a character he has formed over the years just to get clicks/listeners.

The only worse scenario I can think of is the one I have been having nightmares about: Saban to Texas and Gruden to Bama

Honestly dont see why Ainge gets so much hate. If you have to talk for 4 hours a day youll probably say something stupid every once in a while. For me, its about every five minutes.

Not an Ainge expert so idk but thats just what it seems. I might be missing something I guess

simple... op doesn't like ainge, got butthurt over something in the past... starts pointless thread about him talking about another coach from another conference in the Tennessee Vols Football forum.

Makes sense.

The textbox is gone now? These guys cannot get it together. Ainge saying Chris Peterson is a panzy for not taking other coaching jobs. Chris Pertersen's son has been very ill and needed to stay close to the Doctors treating him. Ainge, get your facts right man!

Awesome facts you got there pot...

Someone should start a thread about you now.

Calling him a pansy makes Ainge look like a complete meathead.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...then it's probably a meathead.

It's still a stupid remark by Ainge. People accept and decline job offers for a variety of reasons. Calling him a pansy makes Ainge look like a complete meathead.

Agreed. Also meth-head

I really don't get the ainge hate. I feel like the older audience wants his show to be all analysis and super serious time. When he goes on a rabbit trail it annoys them. I find it hilarious. Like when him and jay bay were poking fun at hooker this morning. I laughed pretty hard.

Kind of like Dave Hooker right?

Yep. Peterson to Washington.

Well, the Huskies just hit the freakin lottery. Sarkisian has done a great job getting the Huskies back to relevance. I actually consider this an upgrade. Makes you wonder if USC is scratching their head saying, "wait, he was on the market?" CP will inherit a decent roster. I have no doubt that he will have UW competing for championships soon.

Next question, will UW now install purple turf??
