Personal ethics. It's a personal decision - Peterson determining what is right for him and what is wrong for him. Ainge calling him a pansy entails not making the right decision in light of adversity.

Maybe the correct response it to turn to the bottle and some pills. That's not cowardly, is it?

I think this has to do with the fact that the SUPER CONFERENCES are coming. Peterson is smart enough to know that if he doesnt take a BCS job soon than Boise and all the other non BCS schools may get demoted to the FCS. At that level Boise could not pay him but a smidgen of what he currently makes.

I don't think Ainge was going that deep. Probably just wondering, like a lot of people are, why he would choose UW over the top teams in the country the past few years and being a immature media person about it.

Every time a coach is mentioned, the Gruden and Hart debate begins. Some of you either need to grow up, get a hobby, or let it go. All of you "really" knows what happened. It's laughable. We have a coach that wants to be here and has done almost everything right. You remind me of kids that don't get their way.

This isn't recruiting, it's business. You make your pitch and give a ball park figure offer, and if the agent says no, it means no and you move on.

And I also wouldn't be surprised if Hart did do more than just call. Nobody would ever admit that they begged someone to come coach at their school and got turned down. It just looks bad on all parties involved. With that said, I'm sure he just called the agent and that was that.

Who cares anyway, we've got Butch!

You don't do much negotiating do you? Granted, a deal may not end on agreeable terms, but an initial "no" does not kill a deal.

Yall do realize Arkansas thought they had Gruden coming to Fayetteville correct? Gruden taking your favorite college coaching job and WWE wrestling reside in the same neighborhood I think....:thumbsup:

Ainge is a loud mouth. he is actually pathetic. I quit listening to him a long time ago. The more he talks the more ignorant he sounds.

To put things in perspective.. I live in Al, so the only somewhat local talk show around is full of a bunch of Bama Homers...naturally. Regardless of whatever EA said about this, and regardless of the juvenile stuff which is getting better...... I rely on streaming the EA show thru the phone on the way to work. Thumbs up on the EA show!

As we remember he went to Colorado and ran that program into the ground and he is out of coaching now. So the blazed trail from Boise has a sudden thud. They were a Junior college not long ago so the history is short.

That program was already ran into the ground before Hawkins even stepped foot on campus....Nobody wants to play in Colorado....Hell even CBJ turned them down for Tennessee....This train wreck will be easier to turn around.

hey guys, I listen to the EA show via phone to stereo, but want to check out other shows via streaming. Which ones can yall turn me onto? I have a android phone...dont exactly know what all Vol radio shows are good ones. Wife set me up on EA show for Phone/streaming.
