Ainge DUI

Good people can still make terrible decisions. I'm thankful he wasn't injured and didn't injury anyone else. All he can do now is learn from his mistake.

I was working one night and finishing paperwork, 30 minutes before my shift was over, and I heard what I knew was a wreck. It was at a busy intersection, so I went to look. It was bad. A Ford Expedition had hit a small Nissan car in the passenger side. The Ford had pushed the passenger side of that Nissan all the way into the drivers side. As I checked on the drivers, the driver of the Ford was ok as well as her children. I went to check on the other driver. He was dead. He was unrestrained and his head had impacted the front of the Ford, breaking his neck. It killed him instantly. His car had crossed the center line and turned right in front of the Ford. He was 21 and had been drinking.

I can still see that young man looking back at me and I can still hear the woman crying because she had killed someone, even though it wasn't her fault

Those memories will live with me forever

I like EAs show, but you don't have to listen long to realize he has a lot of growing up to do. I hope he gets his life together.

That's not a freaking mistake! That's a freaking moron that needs his ass beat. As a firefighter I see this crap all the time and so many times only the victim is truly hurt....I make sure to not be gentle with my medical care to the drunk, and if my wife is ever hurt or worse by a drunk, I swear I will kill them on the spot, and my KPD officers will look the other way!! Stupid ass

Absolutely. You don't know the circumstances. Even the best plans fail at times. But I digress, you're the all high and mighty Ron Mexico.

Well, clearly you can't read. I admitted to not knowing the circumstances and said multiple times that he may be innocent. Is being illiterate hard to deal with in 2013?

EA?? Really?? Lol
You would take one look at me and say, ok probably not for EA....Brock Lesner would have a great shot, but not EA. Lol. Are we really defending a freaking drunk that's driving a vehicle with a chance to kill our loved ones? Unbelievable!

:eek:lol:

If you don't know, You would never have a shot with one anyway. Just enjoy what you have.

Lol. Yeah slick, you are the only person in the history of life that has hooked up with an attractive female. Sounds to me like it was your first and only experience.

Grow up people. There is no defense for DUI. None. Nada. No how. No way. Zero tolerance.

You do not drive if you have even had one drink of alcohol. Don't do it. Same for certain types of meds and any illegal mind altering crap. It is not just your selfish life on the line. It's not cool. It's not funny. It only takes one dumb mistake to screw it up for a lot of people including yourself.

So where does it say he had a drink or drug again?

Can you say your ABCs?

Can you count to 4 on your fingers?

Can you stand and look at your foot, while counting, without falling over?

Its pretty damn easy to figure out when someone is drunk.

Apparently you have never gone through one that wasn't given by one of your buddies.

Your right, and for the most part we all do. But IF it were my wife...killed or hurt by a drunk...all bets are off then....I have zero tolerance for drunk drivers.Ive never hurt any of them to this date, even "care" for them after the victims are treated...but, like I said, if it were my wife!!!

Wait, didn't you just say earlier you rough up the DUI victims?

12% bf is pretty so-so. That's about where I stay after eating brownies all weekend

I'm a woman, and I'm not to fond of firefighters. Of the 5 I have personally known (and considered friends) all 5 have cheated on their wives. So, you can keep your 12% BF nasty self, I'll take the guy with the soft middle any day!

I've been falsely arrested for DUI. I musta looked like the dude that took the cops lunch money in 8th grade or something cause I blew 0 on the breathalyzer and passed all the sobriety tests. He said my eyes 'ticked' during the pen test. Purely subjective. I volunteered to do a blood test. Nothing.
I still went to jail for the night and the scumbag cop kept my handgun for 6 months before returning it. However, the judge never let it get to court due to the laughable amount of "evidence."
So yes, it does happen.
