What if?? Yea, Yea, triage, assess the most critically injured pt first! You learn that in the academy and paramedic school. ..its used on all scenes, except drunk driver scenes. ...and most of the time, the drunks aren't hurt, you right though, I'm not whay I say.

At this point, I have no idea what you're talking about. My sole original point was that drinking and driving is not, by definition, a mistake. That is, if the person actually is drunk. EA may be 100% innocent.

The Academy teaches new hires Not to be emotional at the arrival of the scene. The same goes for physicians. Those are fields where a "level head" is needed to serve others.


I understand your frustration as I was injured by a drunk driver in 1993, and I am sure you see some gruesome things. Unfortunately it comes w/ the territory for your profession.
