Air fresheners are illegal in Minnesota

And it was a good stop because the guy had warrants.
Innocent until proven guilty. You cant justify an action after the fact with new information. They had no idea who they were pulling over, or else we would have read that it was cops pulling over for an arrest.

Maybe they'll find that the guy smoked something and they'll be able to claim he OD'd and that he was already dead before the bullet hit him.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
“It’s a miracle! He just up and died like a fart in the wind!”

Reporters seen Scolding Police Chief for using the word 'riot' to describe Violence that broke out in Minneapolis suburb

Reporters were seen telling a Minnesota police chief not to use the term “riot” when he explained how officers responded to violence near Minneapolis during a press conference.

There was no riot," one reporter responded.

“Don’t do that,” another person is heard saying, as others joined in that there wasn’t a riot.

I'll admit, I've never been to Minneapolis, but is the entire area mostly black? I've been watching the news for the last hour or so and all of the city leaders for Minneapolis and the surrounding communities have been black.

Clearly we are talking about Minnesota and a black guy from Minnesota here. His post was a not-so-subtle way of saying he's surprised air fresheners in Minnesota are illegal because ......certain Minnesotans smell.

(its racist because we all know who the certain Minnesotans are - given his reference to Somalia and the topic at hand).

but ultimately I asked him so he can explain

Ive been to alot of countries in the middle east and asia. Alot of smells in those places. Ive also been french settlements and alot of smells.

Not saying he was guilty, just that it was a good stop because he had warrants. You can disagree with the stop (which I understand) but sometimes you have to be petty (but legal) with your PC.

I’ve already stated that myself several times now. Likewise there should be SEVERE consequences on the officer for killing him, even though we can pretty much already see that was not her intention.

I'm sure there will be. I'm not so sure the poor choices made the guy who resisted arrest will be part of the news tonight

It has far more to do with a society that can't follow simple instructions and looks to blame anything and everything else instead of their lack of respect for authority. You don't have to like or agree with someone to respect their authority. That is what this all boils down to, if someone "feels" disrespected then it doesn't matter from that point forward because everything is justified by their feelings.
Meh, I think there is certainly a lot of that. But we also have too many silly azz laws that have crept into our society, also. So now you have a group of undisciplined and unaccountable people violating petty and nonsensical laws.

I would agree to an extent. There are just as many bad cops as there are bad lawyers.
All I know is if I need a lawyer, I'm looking to the billboards for a recommendation. What moron would hire an attorney that advertises on TV or billboards.

What is the “BCA” that keeps getting referenced?

And yeah her career as a LEO is over and I’d guess she’s going to jail also. Additionally there is gonna be a large wrongful death suit against the city. This was clearly not justified, even though she meant to use her TASER instead of sidearm. She simply cannot have that bad of a day, the cost of an error of that magnitude is too high.
If Amber Guyger can break into another man's house and essentially get off lightly...

I don’t disagree that the situation will be misrepresented by the MSM to further their narratives. I just choose to not watch that BS.

But there is no alternative narrative using his prior offenses and outstanding warrants as justifying the outcome here.

The midwest is considered the North.

It is north of the Mason dixon line and people are considered yankees there.

Minnesota was also the first state to offer its state's citizens to fight in the civil war.

What am I missing here?

Basic cultural geography, obviously.

Northeast is considered "the north," populated by yankees. MN, WI and the like are midwestern states with bigger differences from yankees than southerners.

She was found guilty and went to jail.

I thought about bringing that situation up but honestly it’s completely different. Botham Jean was in his apartment minding his own business and she walked in and shot him. He had zero culpability in that situation.
