Air fresheners are illegal in Minnesota

she called me racist in that other thread because i said some cultures were superior than others and it had NOTHING to with race. But she is too blind and naive to have a real discussion about it

We've created a country where someone is male, scientifically speaking, literally male. But we are supposed to say they are female if that is what they wish.

But, you can call someone a racist cause you feel like it, but cant prove it.

Awesome.

Annddddd there it is:

"records show Wright was being sought for fleeing from law enforcement officers and for possessing a gun without a permit during an encounter with Minneapolis police in June. In that case, a statement of probable cause said police got a call about a man waving a gun who was later identified as Wright"

You were asking because you were ignorant of the facts and of simple law, much like when you failed your nursing certifications.

Oh, LOL. You're really trying too hard, I'm proud of my BSN, the subsequent RN as well as my CCRN certification, no failures here but believe what you'd like.

On the other hand, it appears as if you're already trying to frame the shooting of this guy as "justifiable." Most cops I've met don't leave the "profession" because they're intellectually maxed out and don't have the capacity to fall forward, there are exceptions (I'm sure) but given you're abundant need to make sure you're wrong on virtually every issue - I'd wager you aren't one of those exceptions.

I am saying that the facts presented already lead to justifiable more than not. If something else comes out stating otherwise I will be the first to state such. I left the profession to explore further opportunities, to utilize my skills better, and to make a whole hell of a lot more money (which although i kid you, I am sure is your main motivation to moving to be a professional drug rep from a simple male RN).

I am not wrong, and have been proven right on almost every incident discussed here. If evidence comes out that this shooting was due to "racism" or some other such BS, i will be the first to denounce it. But a guy legally being pulled over and them discovering he has a violent gun warrant previously and him running to the vehicle and fleeing is a little more than "it's just an air freshener issue".

And when you are talking intelligence, please don't use "you're" when you mean your, it's really a pet peeve.

Yeah. If that's the reason for the pullover that is some serious bs.

Unless it's like a square foot in size and blocks views I cant see any reason for that to be illegal, or even worth pulling someone over.

Sounds like one of those tack on charges that gets dragged out when other things dont stick.

And people should know this. Know if your tint is legit. Make sure you don’t have a tag light out. Etc etc etc

When correcting someone's grammar, you should know when to end one sentence and begin another. It's not really a pet peeve, but it's funny.

Oh I left precisely for the money aspect, but I only worked as a rep for a few years - I now own a risk mitigation and insurance business. I'm curious, do you refer to your doctor or accountant as a male doctor or female accountant, if not why do you feel the need to label a RN by gender?

I knock out a lot of posts on my phone and mistakes are made, as I stated the last time - it wasn't the first and won't be my last. Plus, I'm simply bad at grammar despite the auto correct failures. Truthfully, when I get the grammar nazi smack, it reinforces that I'm not the shell of a nip tweaker that i used to be.

Also, LOL

I state you being a male RN because your personality is right up the alley as most male RNs I have worked with compared to their female counterparts. Now that probably isn't fair anymore than your mischaracterizations of law enforcement officers that you have due to your experiences with some that may have been idiots, but it remains.

I was actually joking about the grammar thing because i know how typos and things happen regularly, especially with smart phones. I don't REALLY care although the You're vs your thing really can be silly with some posters.

Honestly Sep, I don't think you are a bad poster and that you mean well, but you are too stubborn sometimes to look at honest logical facts when presented due to your emotional feelings on subjects. I can look at something i even disagree with on principle and say "ok let's debate", but the name calling and caustic and "septic" nature that you present, leads others to dismiss your posts entirely.

and yes LOL yourself LOL

It’s similar to seatbelt laws. Pull anyone over and say there was an illegal air freshener or they weren’t wearing their seatbelt.
They're illegal in Illinois also. The Police use air fresheners as probable cause to think the driver has been smoking marijuana or has marijuana in the car.

I have no doubt that people look for reasons to dismiss my posts, my writing style is blunt and strong personalities probably aren't used to being challenged. I don't currently see, nor have I ever seen the objectiveness in your posts that you seem to believe is there. Because on of my favorite things here is to flick boogers at bad arguments, I try to be very careful about using hyperbole or other logical fallacy's when crafting points, so calling me an "emotional" poster is somewhat amusing.

and i will agree that those type laws are stupid and unnecessary, but the air freshener wasn't the reason this guy got shot...just because a tail light being out or cracked windshield seems like a pointless violation, doesn't excuse violent felonies after the fact

I think we both could look at our posting styles closer and realize there is some argument to be made by the other. I do try to be objective about each subject, I usually get drawn into the weeds with the LEO incidents because of the long history of seeing 100% BS being posted by those who are either wrong on the facts, wrong on the law, or have a lack of understanding of why things happened the way they did and claim "racism" or "police brutality" when it's actually something else that is explainable 99% of the time.

I remember the old Mike Brown Ferguson and Tayvon Martin posts where the anti-police, systemic racism types were clinging to just made up media reports, etc.

The truth is that if I see actual cut and dry illegal activity by police (like with Walter Scott) OR i see actual things that could've done better (like with Philando Castile), I will call it out as such. But much like criminal court proceedings, you have to take the totality of the circumstances to make a logical conclusion.

Saying "PoLiCez are BaD and RaCIsT aND WaNT 2 KiLLZ thE BLacK pEOplE" doesn't cut it (and no i am not saying this is your stance)

If there were cops standing in front of the car or trying to restrain him when he took off that could get you shot.
From the article it didnt say that. Video would clear this up a lot. One way or the other.

Right now it sounds like a bad shoot to me. That could change.
