You're right. But there's some people that would never dream of doing this. While I believe AJ did this out of the goodness of his heart, things like this can come as a product of maturity and other things it seems the team is having drilled in themIt's nice he helped him, and funny about being offered the hat. I wonder if he ever actually told the guy he was a starting LB for the Vols. Ha!!
But OP seriously...this shows how the staff is showing these kids how to be men??? AJ has been nothing but a solid kid, and it has nothing to do with what this coaching staff has done. His parents, upbringing, and everything else to this point...yes...but stretching it to put it on this staff.

Taking pics of good deeds & posting on the net sounds more like a ego thing. Pretty sure dude in the stocking hat didn't request a picture

Thought I'd post it after seeing it on Instagram. While most college players are complaining about not getting paid, AJ is doing this. What integrity. Also shows the environment around the program and the coaches teaching these guys how to be men. http://twitter.com/FootballTimeMag/status/415519613896892416/photo/1
Good for AJ.
But don't get your comment, players should complain about not getting paid. What's your problem with those complaining about not getting paid.
I'm just wondering...has your 'Dooley Fueled' hate for Jones and his staff embittered your entire life, or do you just save all of this "Joy" to share here on VN?
While I agree that most kids do (or should) learn such traits at home, who's to say that NO ONE on this staff can't or won't have a role in at least continuing a young man's growth, accountability, maturity, etc?
I'm not saying Jones deserves ALL of the credit for AJ's character...just like you can't say Jones positively deserves NO credit at all.
Merry Christmas and Go Vols!!!
Where have I said I hate Jones?? R u seriously calling me out with all the Dooley hate that goes through here on a daily basis. My comment has nothing to do with Dooley. So simmer it down bud. It has to do with acting like he has anything to do with AJ giving a homeless guy in a UT hat food. The kid is solid before CBJ graced his life.
Now that u want to take it there though...would u give Dooley credit for recruiting and bringing a kid like AJ to UT??? Or does ur hate filled miserable life not allow u to swallow that pill.
At the end of the day the Dooley era is the only fair comparison to the CBJ era. Like it or not it's the truth. People like to over exaggerate the dooley eras issues because of their hate. So I like to correct it. One reason is that this place would bore me if i didn't, but mainly I don't want this place to do the same thing it did to dooley to CBJ. The Legion of the Miserable was in force the last few yrs. I want UT to succeed just as much as u and every other Vol fan.
