They won't fire White before signing day but I'd agree that his seat is hot, I'm not sure how that will play with Dee. If only football was in the picture I believe we'd be a lock for his services but basketball throws a monkey wrench into that narrative.

Mullen is a players coach, his kids love him and he's as good a play caller as anyone in college football. Kirby is a bully and drill sergeant, I don't think many in the industry like him and that will catch up to him when trying to find quality assistant coaches. I feel like Pruitt can beat both of them but it won't be easy.

Why would he prefer to play BB for UF over UT? IIRC, we've offered him the chance to play both as well. Heard he had met with Coach Barnes.

He has met with Coach Barnes and they have offered for him to be a member of the team. I can't answer as to why he'd prefer FL over Tn, maybe he likes the girls down there, who knows with 18 year old kids these days. He may decide to not play basketball as well which I think would bode well for Pruitt and the Vols.

I agree. Mullen is great at player development (particularly QBs), play calling, and coaching 'em up. Kirby has won on a sheer talent advantage. Mullen is a much bigger long-term threat IMO.
