'19 AL CB Jaydon Hill

Just know... I watched tape... not stars... to form my opinion... I'm also of the opinion Bush was facing better competition... and from what I saw... I saw the difference in Bush's tackling/instincts to Hill's speed/fluid hips... it's splitting hairs and they are both extremely good CB prospects... if Pruitt likes a guy better who am I to argue against that? I'm good with either... would prefer Bush personally... I think he has star potential... Hill seems more of a stick him on the speed WR guy... we may need that I'm at practice every day... so I trust what he thinks he needs...

I do believe Bush to be the better all-around physical corner... Hill can afford to make a small mistake and recover with his speed...
Ok...I disagree, and so does the head coach that has coached dozens of elite talent DBs..on the field...to championships..over your tape grading prowess.

I don't think he's really trying to argue with yer points, just stating his opinion. Pretty fair statement on his part. I agree with you that Pruitt seems to like him better so I do too. And I think he agrees with that reasoning too based on his response. He just gave his reasoning for liking bush personally. Haha bush. No harm no foul imo.

You're right. I came on a little too strong there I guess. But I do respect Pruitts personal evaluation infinitely more than his video eval when it comes to DBs

I think one thing everyone is overlooking here is that Pruitt stated that he looks for a player to be COACHABLE.

If a kid camps, takes instruction and corrections well and applies it, then I'm sure that goes a long way in their being evaluated.

Maybe when Bush camped, he wasn't as open to being corrected or coached as Hill.

Just a thought.

good point. Could be a number things.

Thinks he picks up teaching quicker and so will be ready to play faster.
Thinks he has a higher ceiling.
Likes his character better. Maybe seems hungrier. Or more focused/intense on the practice field.

It sounds like this kid is already in the boat. I am guessing he has told the coaches he wants a spot since we are almost full.

Multiplying two positives produces a positive number, and multiplying two negatives produces a positive number. Therefore, a negative number has no square root. Last time I looked, a negative number had to be a multiple of a positive and a negative.
Yer math knowledge lacks imagination.
