That’s the whole point. They’ll be part of the come up.I agree but the problem is nothing yesterday indicated that we're anywhere close to being on the come up, and it's not going to get any better as the season goes on. We just got mamhandled by probably the least physical team in the top 25. Image what Florida, Georgia, Bama, Diet USC, and Auburn will do. I know we don't have the guys to compete with them right now, and we probably won't be able to next year either, and at most we're competing for 3rd place in the east in 2020, and at that point how much longer can you sell recruits on bringing the program back when you're on your 3rd class and you still aren't anywhere near being competitive in your division. Do you not remember how bad that 2009 team was that Kiffin took to Tuscaloosa and nearly left with a win? Sure it was the middle of the season, but that Tennessee team was far worse than the one now even if we had Berry, and that Alabama team was far better than West Virginia. I was very high an Pruitt after I heard what he had to say and what others had to say about him, but after seeing how undisciplined and soft we were yesterday not to mention how much we were outcoached it's hard for me to believe that he's going to be able to make the team competitive again. We seemed extremely unprepared in nearly every aspect of the game which is a major problem considering we had film on them and they had none on us. Can you imagine how bad it would've been had we played them in week 2 and they had film on us? Recruits are making their decisions about Tennessee based on the fact we have a new coach that's going to make important changes to the program, but there has to be results if he wants to keep pulling big time guys. That's one of the issues we ran into with Butch. He was able to get a lot of studs his first couple years because they saw an opportunity to play often and early and turn a dying program -that used to be elite- around. After those 2-3 years though everyone realized it wasn't going to work and stopped buying in. I know it's 1 game and it's still very early for him, but first impressions are extremely important and his first impression was horrible. I don't care what anyone has to say about yesterday either. The only plus to that game were the 2 scoring drives and having the balls to go for it on 4th and goal. Everything else was pitiful and embarrassing to watch
