‘23 AL DL Hunter Osborne (Alabama commit)

We really needed this kid. It’s ridiculous that Bama can not pay attention to a kid like that then after they miss on their top guy come back and scoop him up with no effort at all. Winning cures all.

He is instate, I'm shocked at how many really good players are rising seniors in Alabubba and they have whiffed on several. Mostly because they have not pressed on them, but they have lost some players that they really wanted.

Nah. Remember NIL is gonna level the playing field in recruiting. Bama and Saban are nervous that they won’t be able to compete with the teams that have great NIL 🙄🙄

It HAS leveled the playing field.

Look at what there class is ranked and then look at ours!

You just can't but be negative EVERY chance you get.

They have the highest avg of all teams. A quick scroll tells me 2 other 5* and at least 1 4* (got tired of looking after that, felt point was made) have been Fong bombed to Bama as well.

But NIL has helped us have a better class, no doubt.

Let's look again after players actually sign. Bama will have a higher rated class. NIL helps some, but we need to win games to really start to level that playing field. Success on the field breeds success in recruiting.

Good lord man get real. You say crap like this and you want people to think “you know football?” Go look am closely at Bamas class and ours. If you can’t spot the gargantuan difference between them then you are just woefully behind.

Wake up, he said leveled, not tilted it drastically in our favor. Did we or did we not get into the short straws for this and some other top tier recruits? Why would we even be in play comparing our recent history to Bama's for an Alabama kid? NIL is a NEWER factor for SOME of the top recruits at each position and they all will weigh a lot of factors. The money differential for the amount our guys budgeted may not be enough to overcome some disadvantages. But it's potential at least puts us in play and COULD keep us there till the ink is dry.

bama can do that cause they have about 15 consecutive years of competing at the highest level in cfb and their media inside the state is basically a pro bama propaganda machine. Im not sure why Tennessee expects they can go there and beat alabama head to headin recruiting until they can beat alabama on the field. Ga, NC, Va and other border states make more sense to me....

Completely agree. Heupel just has to show we’re headed in the right direction and that last year wasn’t an anomaly.

Alabama has 21 recruits who are 4* are better in 247 composite.

Virginia + NC have 23 combined. Georgia is it’s own animal.

But I would imagine Vols will continue to recruit Alabama hard.

Edited to 23 combined, not 22

Thank you...
It's like taking to a child when explaining things to him sometimes.

It almost like he doesn't observe anything else in the world except things that peak his interest.

The funny... or disappointing... thing about this is you have no idea how ridiculous stuff like this makes you look.

The ONLY thing you know about Bama's class is that they have higher rated players. You haven't evaluated the players nor do you have the resources or expertise to do so.

So what we have here is you noticing that Bama has higher rated players who are to a degree higher rated BECAUSE Bama pursued them and got their commitment.

If we sign the dudes we have now + some 3 stars that are actually 3 stars, it wouldn't change anything with what I said.

We got a commtment from the kid at QB that Alabama wanted more than Arch, or anyone else this class. He's better than any QBs they have signed after Bryce Young.
Throw in the edge rushers and you have the key building blocks to turn around the program. The ability to pass and rush the passer.

Herring and Bradley were both recruited by the big boys.

Bama will close, and probably get a higher ranked class, but it doesn't change NIL got us the kids that can change our fortunes.
