‘23 AL OT Stanton Ramil (Michigan St. commit)

matt ruhle would be a fool to take the auburn job. there are so many better jobs available with more to open as the end of the season grows near.
nebraska and wisconsin dont seem near as toxic as auburn. too, he doesn't seem to fit culturally act auburn which is what they ran into with harsin. harsin will have another job where and when he wants it. he is a good coach

So I never ****ing said a word about him going to Auburn. The other poster said what if they hired Rhule, they being Auburn. The other poster asked ”Michigan State” and I clarified that he was talking about Auburn. Speaking of things that will Probably never change about Volnation……. internet big mouths who start typing without the basic ability to follow along in the thread.

Easy. I was referring collectively to the entire Auburn discussion re: Ramil. Yours just happened to be the last post about it. I know you weren’t saying he’s going to Auburn.

FSU and Ole Miss may be looking for new coaches if rumors are true. 🤔 Those jobs would be more appealing than Auburn, Nebraska, or Wisconsin.

Auburn all day every day over the others.

I think Auburn is going through some of what Tennessee went through….it’s a great job organically…tradition, facilities, support…but the people running things make it far less desirable. They’re dysfunctional right now.

I’d say Florida State is the best of those jobs, followed by Wisconsin. Nebraska is tough.

It’ll be interesting to see if Kiffin is a player for Auburn. I’ve heard it tossed around that he wants to succeed Saban at Bama. But taking the Auburn job would destroy that possibility.

Ole Miss isn't appealing. However, if Saban doesn't retire from Alabama, and Kiffin wants to move on from Ole Miss, FSU could be a very promising landing spot for him. My dad is of the opinion that Saban will retire at the end of this season.

Auburn is a horrible job. Their administration is a mess. The team is currently a mess. You'll always be considered the second best program in the state as well.

I remember a stretch when I was young (90s-early 2000s) where auburn was easily the best program in the state

Gut feeling or does he know something?

Wisconsin up there too. They've been a solid program. Nebraska is sadly at the bottom of these.

Don’t recall where I read it, but there was info that Wisconsin is not supporting their athletic teams as well as they have in the past. That was the only reason I included them in the “also rans”.
