The four-star junior quarterback from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala., whos the younger brother of Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, said Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina are the three schools currently standing out to him, largely because theyre the only places Ive visited so far.
Alabama is, of course, in there, the younger Tagovailoa said after participating in Sundays Atlanta-area Nike The Opening Regional at Buford High School. I really like Tennessee. Tennessee is pretty nice, (and) South Carolina. I guess you could say (they are my top three). I mean, those are the only places Ive visited so far.
We kind of talk every week, Tagovailoa said of Pruitt. Our relationship is really strong. Its a guy that my parents are comfortable with, and they really trust. Thats a big thing for us, and I really like Coach. Tagovailoa said the message he has heard from Tennessees staff primarily has been based on faith, family and football. "Thats the biggest things in my life, he added, and I really admire that about them.
I loved it, Tagovailoa said. Tennessee is nice. I know coach Tyson Helton and I know Coach Pruitt, Coach Niedermeyer and all those guys. It just felt like family over there. Tagovailoa said he also liked how everything is in the (same) area near Tennessees Anderson Training Center. They got their facilities right there, he said. Their dorms are right across the street. Their education center is right across the street, so I like that. Their offense is the main thing to me, too.
I think this time were going to really enjoy the process and take visits, Tagovailoa said. I think thats one thing my dad wants. I think my parents just want to experience more and see a lot of different things, and I think thats what were going to do this year.
Garrett Shrader, Charlotte Christian, Dual-Threat QuarterbackDo you know who uscE is getting? Just curious...
There's a lot of bvs around here this morning. It was better yesterday morning when it was basically just me a Ron finding reasons we are gonna go undefeated this year. Haha
People saying stuff like this gets on my nerves..I am a diehard Volunteer till I die, but any sane person hates losing, and we have been losing for a decade. It has gotten real old and a lot of us are sick of it to the point it has made us hyper critical and frutrated. If I were to ever stop following the Vols, I would quit following football at all...I am a Vol or I am nothing. Not sure why some of these fans bother to be fans. Its optional not a requirement for them to follow a team. If something brought me as much gloom and doom as they endure, Id take up something else. Im with ya. National Champs or bust.
