Exactly. They are a very close family and every article I've read is confirming the obvious. Ala is the heavy leader and he will play with his brother. Don't think people really how close they are as a family. He's definitely going to Ala.

Mountain Brook runs the QB more too. That’s why they started the other kid over him. I do think Tua is special though and the better QB in college.

I would say that the whole family moving from Hawaii to Bamer solidifies this.

You're right they do, but also their starting QB wasn't the best passer either.B it you're definitely right, they love their QB running a lot. Trussville definitely utilizes the strength of Paul and let's him sling it around.

It's not me saying it, I live 10 mins from Thompson HS and it's no secret he wants to play with his brother and stay close to his family. Thompson was not a Football powerhouse but once they hired a coaching staff with numerous Bammers there was a reason the family was helped being located in Alabaster. There was way better Football powerhouse options than Thompson. It's been done and JP knows that, but isn't gonna stop JP from recruiting him. If that's your best attempt at Sarcasm, then you may wanna find a different form of attention getting. There's also about 10 different articles that mention the exact same thing on him being pretty much an Ala lean and lock. I hate it because I Would love for him to be our QB in this class but unfortunately it's not happening.

Actually it wasn’t an attempt at sarcasm, but thanks for the critique in case I decide to be sarcastic at some point. This thread and several others are full of the same thing how we have no shot, why are we wasting time with this kid. Maybe we don’t but at least we have a coach that refuses to accept that now. And in turn I believe that’s attitude will spill over to the players in the field. Unfortunately it probably won’t help with some of our gloom and doom fans. I for one don’t always put much good or bad from most articles. The writers need clicks to survive. That will greatly influence what and how they right. Maybe we get him maybe we don’t. Either way this coach will go all out.

While he could commit to Alabama tomorrow, I don’t think this is a done deal as you are making it sound. Close family? Absolutely. But not a deal breaker. If that was the case, big brother wouldn’t have left the Island and played for Hawaii because the whole family (aunts, uncles, cousins) are a tight knit bunch. Something to keep in mind is Taulia didn’t go to the same high school as his brother because he didn’t want to sit behind big brother.

That's awfully contradictory. So CJP knows that he is a lock to Alabama but yet continues to spend time recruiting him and bringing him up to a visit? Why? We can agree that CJP knows much more about his intentions than we do or journalists do, correct? And yet he is certainly spending considerable resources recruiting him. Sounds like he knows something about him that makes him believe he might just decide to play somewhere else. Just maybe.
