It's my understanding that he just came up to briefly camp/workout for/with UT's coaches. He went right back to UA to help peer recruit. There are lots of visitors and campers on campus Sat-Mon.Its odd to me that he was supposed to be here through the weekend, but left and Saturday and was helping Saban that day. Doesnt sound good. Makes me think he was either here recruiting for Saban and got sent home early or the visit didnt go well at all
I'm not positive, but I think To'oto'o planned to visit UA (thru Monday). UT and UA both have former De La Salle players on staff, Vols player development asst Kevin Simon and Tide DC Tosh Lupoi.Swanson posted that To'oto'o went from here to Bama in his thread. Coincidence? Or is my tin foil hat screwing with me.

Sorry. There seemed to be some confusion about where Taulia was actively recruiting for Bama. I was only trying to help, by explaining that he's doing Bama recruiting on Bama's campus. I very seriously doubt he was doing it at all on UT's campus. He's not the kind of person who would do that.I wish you would go the heck away..You make my BVS flare up.

Well I took the time of reading on the AU forums about this situation and some other info. The facts:
-Taulia is on Bama campus nearly every week.
-The Tago family is very family oriented hence why they all moved to AL.
-Being a tight unit, "It will be very hard not to choose Bama" (Taulia and dad).
-Taulia does not care about competition, and having another QB over him "matters none."
-Bama openly stated they must take 2 QB's this cycle (2019).
-4 weeks ago they flipped an Ark St. QB in the 2018 class (Layne Hatcher). I'm not sure how this factors in for the QB situation for 2019
-Being close to home is HUGE but God is bigger. They are a unified Christian family. Their family has peace and humility about this situation. This will be a God moment and it will come down to His desire for their family (yes that's fact).
-There are more but you can find it.
Taulia truly likes UT and this isn't over. Bama is recruiting him different because he is around campus every week. He is pretty close to Damien Harris and a few other Tide boys. Taulia and family aren't about secrets or deception. I wouldn't treat Taulia "recruiting for Nick" the same as that other joker whom I won't name who left Clemson recently. Bama is family to his family. I expect when Taulia knows (if he does flip), he will tell Bama out of respect they have shown him. We are doing all we can and I'm thankful we have a staff that competes now (Thumbs tired).
It really sounds like we are wasting our time, and it feels to me like the staff is all in on flipping him or nothing, and I am not really liking this approach..but..I am no expert..There are always some overlooked diamonds out there to be found at QB. I'm thinking maybe they figure on identifying one of those types through the season if they can't get who they obviously really want.
I much enjoy civilized discussion, thank you brother. I agree it can leave a Vol quite anxious! I trust the staff that there is a chance, but it is patiently going to go to December from what he's implied. The only definite OVs he is taking (so far) will be us, Bama, and USCjr. I think Muschamp has < 1% from what I've read and discern. It really sounds like we are wasting our time, and it feels to me like the staff is all in on flipping him or nothing, and I am not really liking this approach..but..I am no expert..There are always some overlooked diamonds out there to be found at QB. I feel bad for even questioning the kid. This is the guy that would put us back on the map. Unfortunately, Im afraid we have little chance of getting him. Sigh.
I like that we're still going after him and that he still seems open to the idea. Odds are we don't get him but I don't think it's close to over. I also don't think that we are putting all our eggs in one basket. We are still recruiting other qbs and new ones we haven't heard of will pop up. They definitely have a back up plan.
