I don't think so. To'oto'o had already planned and scheduled to visit both UT and UA on his trip. Both have been recruiting him for a while. And Taulia planned to head to UA for the rest of the weekend after he camped at UT. There wasn't any need for Taulia to go to UT to peer recruit.Looks like the only reason for the visit to Knoxville was to peer recruit the LB from California and ensure he followed him back to Tuscaloosa
Shouldve read:
Taulia Tagovailoas dad drug his ass to Knoxville to Camp two weeks ago while he was kicking and screaming. He didnt want to go but after talking to Coach Saban, he decided to waste two days of his life that he will never get back just so he could go peer recruit.
Pruitt's football acumen is excellent. Although he lacks HC experience, he's worked for and learned from very good HCs and has a vetetan HC in Fulmer as his AD. So I think Pruitt will to do well. And I hope he does.
I don't play head games or troll. I don't get emotional about recruiting. And I don't get "scared" about tough competition. I love competitive games between really good teams.

Taulia and his dad know and like Pruitt and Helton. It's smart to maintain those relationships and establish options in case they're needed in the future. For example, it's pretty common for QBs to transfer if/when they get beat out for the starting job. Other programs and coaches who recruited them out of HS could turn out to yield good transfer destinations for them a year or two later.
Coaches move around. Some end up in the NFL. Developing and maintaining good relationships between players and coaches is beneficial for both players and coaches.

Tbh, I don't have an attitude of arrogance or any intent of being patronizing toward UT or Vols fans. But A LOT of VN posters assume and imagine that I do.
It seems to me Pruitt and Helton invited Tua to come camp at UT and Taulia's dad thought Taulia should take them up on that offer. If the dad just wants to maintain a relationship with Pruitt he can pick up the phone and chat. But he allowed his son to take what was supposed to be a secret trip to Knoxville. It leaked, and now they are having to play the trip down because...well, because they live in Gumpland and signing day is months away.

I doubt it was much of a secret. Taulia had said in the past shortly after he publically committed to Bama that he might still make a few visits elsewhere. He still hasn't ruled out potential OVs to UT and LSU.
A couple of UGA's top commits, Nolan Smith and Trezman Marshall have visited Bama some since committing, but both UGA and Bama think there's hardly any chance they're considering flipping, especially Smith.
One of Bama's commits (since Dec.), Brandon Turnage, lives in Oxford, MS. He goes to camps at Ole Miss. It's convenient and good for his development as a player. All other indications are that he's not interested in flipping. He visits Bama often and peer recruits for Bama. His mom came with him on two of his visits this summer.
Like I've said, I don't think Taulia is considering flipping. I could be wrong though.

A lot recruits totally shut down their own recruitments after they commit. But some don't. Like I've said, I don't think Taulia is considering flipping. I could be wrong though.
From another site and I don't know if this is the same Tidal Surge:
"They funnel so much orange koolaid up each other's asses, they've convinced themselves of stuff like Quavaris Crouch, Darnell Wright, Khris Bogle and Henry To'oto'o are all silent commits, that they'll flip Taulia from Bama and Pappoe from Auburn, and definitely sign a top 5 class."
So you're saying it's subconscious then? Because it is there, I assure you. I have never had anything against you, but even I have noticed the patronizing tone.
And I am not saying you should quit posting, or even change your style. You be you. For all I know I might patronize Bama fans if my team never lost to theirs.
The reality is Bama's FB program is very successful in recent years and UTs hasn't been up to it's normal standards. Am I supposed to pretend that's not the case?
For example, Bama has two very good OLB commits and will take one more if they can land a great one. They only have room to take one more. They like Kayvon Thibodeaux and Khris Bogle A LOT. Who wouldn't? Thibodeaux is #1 on their board and Bogle is #2. Thibodeaux is leaning pretty heavily to Bama lately. It seems to me that Vols fans would view that as good for UTs chances of landing Bogle.
Is it arrogant or patronizing that I share info such as that on VN? Or is more that Vols fans perceive it that way?
Let the season play out. The kids need to see a product.

I don't feel any need to remind anyone. And I'm not surprised by the fact that a lot VN posters don't want any inbred, toothless, redneck trailer-trash "Bammer" posters like me on VN.No one here needs you to explain that. Everyone knows where both programs have been and currently are.
You feeling the need to remind everyone is met with a predictable end on this board. No different than the predicatable responses you would get on a Bama board from the mid 90's til Saban.
You acting surprised at how that is accepted on a UT board is the funny part.
