Siap Elite 11 Quarterbacks: 2018 arms to know at The Opening Finals

We know Tagovailoa has arm talent but this week is about finding the quarterback that is a step above and for Taulia to take that step up, we need to be sold on a next-level arm. His brother Tua was a five-star for us despite size limitations because he had that other-worldly arm. Taulia is even more limited physically so he needs to showcase arm ability that inches towards his brother to take the next step in the rankings.

Heck no. Some are insufferable.

For example, the endless flow of media drivel about Tua vs Jalen is bad enough on its own. Even worse it helps fuel endless fan debate about it. It's been an especially bad plague on Bama forums for about year now. Imo, the boneheads who debate that topic should just be thankful Bama has two pretty good QBs.

So do you go to other sites and mock their optimism, suggesting they are funneling crimson koolaid?

Of course when you are virtually guaranteed a top 5 class because you are Bama, I guess blind optimism is the norm. But Saban won't be there forever though, and reversion to the mean will be a b1tch.

On the two Bama forums that I frequent, over-the-top homerism, arrogance, whining if things aren't perfect, etc. usually gets called out.

I usually don't bother with calling them out. Similarly, I usually don't bother replying to posters who choose to insult me or who try to rustle me or provoke me.

Older fans like me remember the down times that Bama's program has had and truly appreciate the current good fortune while we're having it.

I have to admit I shouldn't have worded that post on TOS so generally as applying to all VN posters. It doesn't apply to all VN posters. I should've said "A lot of VN posters..." Fwiw, I edited my post on TOS to add this:

ETA: Obviously that doesn't apply to all VN posters, but it does apply to a lot of them, imo. Last winter a lot of them expected UT to land some big talent Pruitt was pursuing. But almost all of those became whiffs on NSD. There's no way to tell at this point if that'll happen again. Pruitt is doing pretty well in recruiting so far in this cycle. But how well UT's recruiting plays out will likely depend a lot on the perceived outlook of their program as the season plays out.

Ha ha. I still don’t have you or TS on ignore but Chief Vol is another story. But your post shows you got your feel feels hurt. Sorry. Been trying to tell you guys that if he likes what our O looks like from what he is being told, that it is not a long shot but you are too busy trying to be besties with your bammer bud. BB as in breakerboy is telling you the same thing. CJP is recruiting very well but if he produces the product on the field, you will see the floodgates open. It will be better than koolaid colored orange. Sorry if that makes your buddy have to take refuge with his other sheep friends at the Bama Farm.

We also know that when Hubbs says the Vols are in a good spot for a recruit that means we are in a REALLY good spot. Y'all trying to earn your spot on the condescending bammer's good list are crazy.
