Taulia and his dad know and like Pruitt and Helton. It's smart to maintain those relationships and establish options in case they're needed in the future. For example, it's pretty common for QBs to transfer if/when they get beat out for the starting job. Other programs and coaches who recruited them out of HS could turn out to yield good transfer destinations for them a year or two later.

Colleges coaches move around. Some end up in the NFL. Developing and maintaining good relationships between players and coaches is beneficial for both the players and coaches.

You are so full of crap..You know it's advantageous to have Taulia in To'oto'o's ear about Bama the whole whole time he is here..just admit that was a serious advantage you jackwad. We went through all this garbage with Tee Martins boy, Hunter Johnson and Tee Higgins...Dumbo Swindler learned from the best..I hope Pruitt is smart enough to see it coming.

By the way my position is the same it's always been..

Taulia is a dead end and a waste of time. We are gonna mess around and miss out on another fast rising QB in Cornelius Brown by messing with him...that's just my opinion.

I would assume that Coach Pruitt hasn't put all of his eggs in one basket.

So I don't know why you are worried on him missing someone.

Every elite guy he has wanted, he has pursued and is still pursuing. I doubt he is just sitting there like "Yup I am only going after Taulia...." Lol 🤣😂

Do we know that CJP and staff have it in their minds to take two QBs this cycle or take one and hold for a possible like Taulia . I’m betting CJP isn’t sweating it as much as some on here are now that they have a qb onboard , probably thinking if we get him great we will take him , if we don’t then we will use that scholly on a position of need like an extra Cb, Wr, or lineman .

This makes the most sense to me .

jmo... but many of you will hopefully look back on this thread in a year or two and realize how petty and childish you appear. Even though I don't post as much as I used to, I've been a member for quite a while and am still a very active reader of most forums.

I've seen many obvious trolls who post opinions simply to get reactions. From what I can tell TidalSurge rarely posts opinions (unless he is asked) and mostly provides actual information. Whether that information is valid or not, or is liked or not, or whether anyone chooses to believe it or not... is up to them. But that doesn't make TS a troll, and I for one appreciate anyone (Vol fan or other) who is willing to share information on VolNation. That, in large part, is what makes it such a good website.

Appreciate his post on the Bama site as well when not covering his true feelings. Have family that love Bama more than family and are freaking idiots about it. His post on his site ie not in good rivalry fun. He really dislikes others not in his fanbase and it’s all about a football team. Not al Bama fans are like that. I went to the game last year. Had some good folks and just one or two actual idiots. But his post on that site is very plain. I don’t have him on ignore and he can post whatever wherever he wants but he’s a bammer and you can close your eyes to it if you wish. But he posted we were all a bunch of delusional orange koolaid drinkers and that includes you.

Tualia is a good QB but honestly I could care less if we get him or not. (I think we have options if we need a second commit)

That being said I would like the VOLs to get him, he seemed to really be able to fling it in HS (The only downside is he is short, but who knows maybe he will grow?)

Actually, he said we were "funneling the Kool Aid up each other's a**es". Gotta capture the true saltiness.

But the poster you're responding to, and a couple like him, don't mind. Nah, as far as they're concerned, we can speak ill of each other, a Bama fan can speak ill of us, they don't have a problem with that. But gawd forbid that we say a negative word about that same rival.
