I am forming my opinion based upon what I have read both from the Bammer and from other sources. I am sorry if that hurts your feelings so much. Unlike many posters, I hope that I am wrong and really have nothing to base it on other than reading the same stories and posts that you have read. Not sure what I have done to wrong you, but I am not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. I respect most of your posts, but don't much care for the one above.

Imo, the reality is that UT appears to be a very legit contender for Crouch, Wright, Bogle and To'oto'o. I am glad that you owned it. In case you didn't know however, every other school has their own share of sunshine pumpers, including Bama, who think that they're going to get everybody. In this case, this sunshine pumper is optimistic, except about Taulia and Pappoe, but in no way do I think that they are silent, or even if they are, that that can't change by the time they want to sign.

I think a fair characterization of most on VN is that we are enthusiastic and optimistic because Pruitt is willing to go head to head with Bama or anyone else, and given his apparent success against Auburn, there is strong evidence that he will be successful with one or more of these top players. And for the record, the Auburn that we are beating in recruiting is the same Auburn that embarrassed both Bama and UGA last year.

I don't think that the majority of people on VN expect that we will get them all, only that we are in the game.

It is not unreasonable to believe that we wind up with a top 10 class, and if everything goes right, a top 5 class. If the Bammer believes that such a class ranking is blind homerism, then I suspect he is gonna be real surprised when we start going head to head with Bama on the field as well.

I've seen many obvious trolls who post opinions simply to get reactions. From what I can tell TidalSurge rarely posts opinions (unless he is asked) and mostly provides actual information. Whether that information is valid or not, or is liked or not, or whether anyone chooses to believe it or not... is up to them. But that doesn't make TS a troll, and I for one appreciate anyone (Vol fan or other) who is willing to share information on VolNation. That, in large part, is what makes it such a good website.

Agreed. Most of the people, even us sunshine pumpers are optimistic but no one thinks we're getting them all.

I think we are getting him but having a lot of fun with the bammer. Never felt bad at anytime toward you except the cub thing. 😂

It’s pretty clear behind the scenes the Tag family has been telling Pruitt there’s a good chance he’s coming to UT. Otherwise Simonton wouldn’t be this optimistic.

If he and his family are as good as advertised and really do like CJP, no way they are playing head games with him or using a visit as a guise to undercut him.
