It’d be nice but I think the staff is being played. I would prefer to be wrong.

How can one be played if you are recruiting multiple players? Wouldn't you be the one playing the recruits? Lol

While the Alabama commit has one of the strongest arms in the camp, it did not translate to much production on the field. The Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson standout completed 71 of 109 passes for six touchdowns and six interceptions. Ultimately it was the lack of quick decisions that hurt Tagovailoa the most over the weekend.

That article is great and doesn’t fail to mention there are positives and negatives to both Bama and TN. Bama, to me, has more negatives but a huge positive and Tennessee is the contrary. The numerous negatives for Bama are obvious: depth chart and the inevitable competition against a major legacy as well as the unreasonable expectations that will be put on Taulia. The huge positive for Bama and huge negative for TN is that we SUCK!!! And of course, Bama has been the Gold standard since 2009. The comparisons to his brother are inevitable regardless of destination.

I’d be curious to see the correlation between performance at that camp and subsequent performance in college. My take is that it is really hard to know who is going to be good in college at QB.
