'19 AL QB Taulia Tagovailoa

If he is smart, he attends Alabama. There he can get the assurance of having an offensive line that will protect him, players to make plays around him and lower scoring games.

By the time he plays, our OL will be one of the best in the SEC as well as the Nation. He will be protected as well as any QB in the SEC.

Have you seen the OL class we are about to pull in?

NB: "are about to pull in"

Let’s take both

My only fear there is what Maurer said about OSU and what Meyer did to him. If we took Taulia as well, Maurer may decommit because he feels slighted. Then, what happens if Taulia were to flip back to Bama?

Not saying those things happen but they could. And if they did we would be in trouble. I think the safer choice would be to just focus on Maurer. But if CJP wants both, then I trust his judgement.

Let's put it this way. Tua comes to you for advice and you would lay your credibility on the line by advising him to forget Alabama, as sure a bet as exists in college football.

"Go to Tennessee, young Tua, they might have one of the best OL in the SEC as well as the Nation. You may be protected as well as any QB in the SEC."

The good that comes from your message is that you can exclude "Collegiate Sports Consultant" from your potential career choices.

Lets put it this way. I don't care where Tua goes to play football and I think Tennessee has a better QB as a commit. I am confident that the OL @ Tennessee will be good enough, in the next two years, to protect its QB. I am retired and probably know more football than you ever thought about. I have a grandson who played in a National Championship game three years ago. I have a SEC championship which I wear when and where I want . I saw my first Tennessee football game in 1946 and have season tickets my father first had in 1933. I really don't care very much about what you say concerning Tennessee football since you are so misinformed. As far as I am concerned, I don't need to see or read any thing else you have to say. Have a nice evening.

If JG wins the job and plays well this year QB isn't that big of a deal this cycle imo. Quite frankly I'm not too jazzed up about any of the 2019 QB's anyway, so I wouldn't be disappointed if we don't get any as long as we get difference makers in other areas.

Which has nothing whatsoever to do with my post that Tua is best off going to Alabama. Which you severely criticized me for, called me a troll :moon2: and insulted my now dead Mother.

To recall...

Our coaches better be selling that same story. You expect our coaches to walk up and say, man we suck. Come on anyway. They are selling exactly what you put. They prolly believe with smith and these good frosh we will have a great ol. Otherwise, we are in trouble if they believe we suck and that's just how it will always be.

What our coaches sell has nothing to do with the reality that a player in Tua's situation will be advised that "ifs" and "maybes" don't equate with "got" and given".

I would like to think that VN would be grown up enough to face the truth of things but Good Lord! I really wonder if posters can keep putting out really wild absolute BS that may never come true and not see that the involved reputations of more and more of these people is heading down the gurgler.

Would it be too much trouble to rephrase this? As a courtesy, I've bolded the parts that need a little attention...
