‘23 AL RB Khalifa Keith (Tennessee)

I thought I said talent was not why Redmond is being recruited, which kind of leaves fit as the reason. I live in Powell.

Bishop, Redmond the 2024 kid at Powell are all good players.

I known Deshawn Mobleys family personally. Remember him?

You have it in your head that I have something against players from the Knoxville area. You couldn't be more wrong.
I know Dennis Rogan too.

I'm always rooting for Knoxville kids to be successful. Bishop getting a Coast Car offer is huge for him. Redmond is NOT as talented as that silly ranking they won't change about him. Leacock is 6'4 210 and runs 4.4. 10.8 100 meter guy. Redmond can't run sub 11 at 6'0. Leacock has better ball skills.

I am University of Tennessee fan. That means I want a 5 star Nico out of Downey, California over CAKs starting QB Charlie High that throws for 3,000 yards against Class 3A Tennessee competition.

We can't beat Alabama, Florida, LSU with guys like Bishop and Redmond.

And you said he sucks because we shut down his daycare oline. sooo
Never said he sucked.
You just showed his stats.

He's a good player. But not better than what we already have.

Tank Bigsby, Irsreal Abikanda, jhmyer Gibbs. Those guys are real difference makers. We've played two of those guys this year and our team won...but we absolutely did not shut them down.

Is Redmond more talented, though? Really hard to quantify, but Leacock looks really, really good. Redmond looks like a guy who peaked early, athletically, then everyone else kind of caught up in that regard.
He’s not. Just some Powell homers trying to see something that isn’t there. You’re right he peaked as a sophomore and everyone else has caught up and he hasn’t put the work in to stay ahead.

Redmonds issue is he doesn't try, he's lazy. If he had the want to, kid is insane.

I get that, but I don't think Leacock simply produces based solely on "want-to". Few kids ever put up the kind of numbers he does against the kind of competition he plays without extreme talent of some kind. He's really, really talented. Having the drive and desire only further separates him. I just wonder how close the actual talent level is between he and Redmond.

He's bigger, stronger, faster and a much better competitor than Redmond.

I said this very thing 6 months ago when Lecock was still a 3 star and Redmond was a 4 star. He's been a 4 star for like 2 years. Really good freshman year and very little development since.

Redmond could be an A+ student and he's still not even close to Nathan Leacock in overall ability.

Anyone can watch their film and see the difference.
