I think he saw he wasn’t going to get much playing time. Where did he end up?
Not directed at you but most people don’t realize or know how fast and quick elite athletes really are. All the decisions are made in milliseconds and most skill players can run 15-20mph at full speed. These are things that if you were on the field you can fully appreciate. The further away from field (or TV) the sense of speed goes down.I agree Sampson makes me wonder if the other backs don’t have as good of vision. Because he is finding seams and holes then just hitting them, plus he is so good getting the edge on outside runs. I like all our backs but watching him last week was exciting even if MO was beat up pretty good when he came in. I was at the game and everyone around us was hoping he’d get a TD and super excited. I hope to see lots of Sampson this today too.
I didn't say he wasn't talented. I've seen him play as well. My comment was more of a compliment to Leacock's ability than a knock on Redmond's. We will see when he gets here what the early takes are on his athleticism and potential.Yes, and they are called highlights for a reason. I've watched Redmond play. Talent isn't why AR isn't recruited.
Was just randomly looking thru the nations top running backs, andddddddd I want Carson Steele (Soph.) from Ball State. 6'1, 215. 1376 rushing yards this year with 12 TDs and a 5.2 ypc
just a under the radar type guy, that would be a nice pickup imo
Not saying he is transferring, but it's fun to imagine
Based on what? I don't know enough about either player to make a good argument. I know a little more about Leacock than Redmond. Leacock is bigger and is currently posting big numbers against a very high level of competition in NC. I wouldn't have asked if you had not said "nor even close". Best I can tell Leacock has something like 1500 yds receiving against some of the best competition in NC... and has helped lead his team to the semi-finals of the state playoff.Hurt your feelings ? Must have.
Seldon is.very talented, I don't think Leacock is as good as Redmond nor even close
It's not the University of North Alabama either.
