I tried to find that a day or so ago and couldn't. Maybe if we check his OSU contract, which should be public, we can find out or @amaralfan1 may know since he's in Columbus.Who is his agent?????

The plane thread during the Head Coach search was epic. Never been so proud of the culture of cynicism and wit shown on this site. There aren't even any UT / Boosters aircraft flying in regards to anything UT. At least take N865UT out for a spin to Ohio or something. I'd love to post that track pic!
Ha! That will be hard as we have criticized almost every coach in the US. We are literally running out of coaches to say something bad about.I have a gut feeling that once all the smoke has cleared a solid qualified dc will be hired that was not discussed, criticized or was reported here on our beloved Volnation! I am no insider, just a longtime Vol fan who is anxious to see who it will be.
I completely and totally disagree. I would want to see what I’m getting myself into. People trying to hire you always spin things as positively as possible. This is probably the biggest step in this guys career whether he takes or turns down this job. This could fast track him or set him back yearsYour point? I am in no way being dramatic, no way does it take this long to decide. Trust me, I had to make more deadly decisions during my multiple combat missions and at a much faster pace. Either you want the raise and job or you don’t, stop holding the two schools hostage.
More pay and the DC position, that is advancement. If you look for guarantee, there are none. OSU could cut him loose next season, then what. He is in the wrong profession to expect any guarantee. Your job is only as secure as your performance.Or he is taking time to evaluate the biggest decision of his professional career. If he takes this job and it fails (especially due to factors beyond his control) he may never get the chance to be a coordinator again. The way our administration handled the Pruitt situation, coaches are wary of coming here. They question the university's loyalty to the coaches.
Be fair, this is not Bubba university, this is UT. You have never heard anyone talk about how bad our facilities are. On the contrary, we are always mentioned in those with the best facilities. You have already spoken with your boss, so other than a home, no major decision left. Staying with OSU could also set him back, again no guarantees.I completely and totally disagree. Yeah, so evaluating where you'll be working, meeting who you'll be working with, touring the workplace, etc MIGHT be the right thing to do before you take the job, eh?More pay and the DC position, that is advancement. I am glad that you were not in my unit, people would have died. Your excuses are lacking. Thanks for playing.Yeah, so evaluating where you'll be working, meeting who you'll be working with, touring the workplace, etc MIGHT be the right thing to do before you take the job, eh?
It is a step up AND at a very, very risky program. If he jumped at the job without even visiting, I'd question his decision making skills, wouldn't you?
Screw that, review the contract and then decide. No need to tour the campus or facilities. It has been proven many times over that our facilities and campus is second to none. Time to man up and stop wasting everyone’s time and effort’s. This guy is beginning to look more and more like a drama queen.
You speak of something you do not know. I have adjusted, doesn’t change my comments. When you serve for over 25 years, it is pretty much your only reference. Doesn’t mean you needs counseling and that was insulting. I guess your one that thinks just because someone serves, they are automatically mentally ill. God forbid we have a view different than others.Get counseling. Every situation is not the military.
Thank you, deeply, for your service but you need to adjust to the outside.
