He's listed as a strong side defensive end. His weight was in the 255 lb range & we need him to bulk up to move inside, IMO. If not possible, I believe he's still a take, but what do we do about our interior d-line?

Were you under the impression we’d fix our entire roster in one class and by September?

I was under the impression we would get a little more TRUE defensive tackle help! It is still early, but things aren't looking great for the DT position. But by all means believe I really thought we would plug every hole and fix every weak spots in this class and they would all come in and contribute to make our defense a top 10 D for the year LOL. Ridiculous!

I’d say he was 6’4 250 probably 6-7 months ago at and that he will likely arrive at a college campus around 260-265 and could be up to 270 by this time next year if he’s an EE. Which is on pace to be at DT playing weight by year two because if we’re starting true freshman on the interior DL (if we get him) we’re in trouble. He could easily be around 280 by his 2nd year on campus. Which is definitely big enough to make an impact at the 3 technique if he can retain he explosiveness

No, I was under the impression we would get a couple true good interior defensive lineman! I don't know why people have to be jerks on here and be so sarcastic as to think someone would believe an entire roster would be fixed in one recruiting cycle! It's ridiculousness and ignorance to make a post trying to belittle someone else. I have pretty thick skin, but you are something else! We really only hit on QB, WR, edge, OT & Safety. JMO

It's only August. Technically we haven't hit on anyone until they sign on the dotted line and I'm sure they are still recruiting every position of need. Will be a lot clearer come December.

Hopefully a big year will setup some big flips our way.

CB could look exponentially better here very soon. Completely agree interior Dline needs to be better soon. I’m sure we add someone there before this class is done but that does seem to be the position we’ve struggled the most with thus far.

Staff has been exceptional recruiting but I see no issues with having some criticism for certain areas that we are obviously struggling with.

Yeah, I think that’s definitely about to happen soon. I think they’ve been more gunshy about getting nil involved with guys in the portal bc of all the inducement rumors going around about some programs.

So we agree that we’ve hit on all the most important positions assuming we get the two corners this weekend. Good to know.

What position do you think the 6’6 280lb Trevor Duncan to play?

This class is really good and it’s a long way from early signing day. Relax.

Duncan, Robinson, Weathersby. Are we thinking all three probably end up as interior dlinemen?

Weathersby said SDE in an interview. Duncan said dline but I don’t think he was specific. I’d assume interior given he’s 280 going into his senior year.

Idk about Robinson. Maybe interior. Maybe interior o line

Robinson I know Garner wants to try on Dline. No idea if he gets him or not but I would imagine he gets a look there.
