I think the whole team takes a dip but they are in the ACC and play nobody basically.

Agree. Transfer portal is important, but not nearly as important as "normal" recruiting.

It’s probably 40/60 now. Hooker, Payton, Velus, Cade last year were without a doubt our most impactful offensive players (except Ced). Tremblay and Terry played big roles on defense. This year we’re relying on Mincey as our potential LT, Bru as our guy opposite Ced and LJD may very well be our 1b running back. Add in Turnage Turrentine Walker and Mitchell on defense. Pretty nice to get players who can immediately play day 1 from the portal. And of course Milton as a solid backup to Hooker

Tomarrion Parker de-committed from Penn State earlier this week in what was not a surprising move. Parker is going to take a long hard look at Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia which are all geographically in his wheelhouse in our opinion. He will come to a game this fall as he has a lot of family in Knoxville. His mom went to Austin East so there is a comfort level here for the family. Will that help Tennessee? We will see.

Unless he failed geography pretty badly he should have never committed if distance was a factor. He had elite offers closer to home.

With the way Florida’s class is already full of DL it might really be between us, UGA, and Bama and he’s clearly a back up option for Bama up to this point considering he chose PSU initially over them.
