Might be the DB coach Etheridge. There's been rumors of his involvement of a sex tape being shared without consent. He's also a former Auburn player that just resigned. I guess it could be wrong and the rumors have been about the wrong coach.

Involved RB Jarquez Hunter, I believe. He was suspended during the summer for something similarly related.

Real scandal or the type they tried to can Harsin with? Hard to keep up with the Auburn scandals

Hyatt was a 4 star.
Jones was an All Conference KR at USC.
Tillman absolutely.

The other guys he still got them to perform higher than their expectations.

But now that they're there, they haven't done much of nothing. Tillman and Hyatt were only rookies. But the sooner they shine the better it will look for Heupel

Jones had 20 yards receiving in 2023. 100 in 2022... :/
Hyatt and Jones both need a QB in their defense...

But the narrative that Heupel only makes good college WRs will remain until those guys start producing in the NFL.

Gabe Davis has done pretty well. Heupel WR from UCF, now with the Buffalo Bills.

You think a coach that beat saban twice at ole miss can’t win big at auburn, a place that’s more willing to cheat than just about any other school outside of tuscaloosa?

Staff falling apart, culture looking like trash, and losing by a few touchdowns to New Mexico State isn’t all that promising…

Freeze of today isn’t the Freeze of a decade ago.

I get the $$$ aspect and he has some connections there, but I just don’t see the appeal of Auburn right now. That coaching staff is a mess. But he’s from the state so I guess he would be willing to overlook all of that.

Does anybody have a clue HOW the general instate folks are viewing these changes in staff? Troublesome or just noise? I am sure they have enemies and an internal segment like we do that instinctively want to accentuate the negative, but what is really rolling through the HS coaching ranks and households with prospects?

So if he goes AU, that will give Freeze three 5* WR's!? WTF...

With no high-tier QB...

Yet we have arguably one of the best QB's (especially after showing the country what he can do against top 5 defense in the bowl) in the country and are having to grab portal guys... Yes we have talent returning and MM on the way, but don't understand still why 5* WR's aren't lining up to play for us, especially with our O system...

Good for auburn it’s not like we play them, also I feel bad for the WRs sounds like that will be an issue if they don’t have a consistent QB to get them the ball.
